On the App Store Under TS Pro it says that All Yonac Apps are $.99 but it looks like a few of them haven’t had the price change yet… it also says all everything bundles are 75% off for 1 day ONLY!

Is there much reason for me to get Magellan 2 if I already have Drambo, Zeeon, Model 15, Model D, Synthmaster One, Poison-202 and a few other synths? It seems like a solid synth but I think I already have it covered?
I picked up ToneStack Pro without the IAP to get the subset of fx.
Are the packs with SynthMaster 2 on sale as well?
Are they worth purchasing even if they’re not on sale?
You probably do, but at $.99, if you have space to spare, it’s still worth a dollar. Even if you use it a few times you will get your money’s worth. Just my opinion.

I can’t believe they have the temerity to ever charge 5.99 for that.
Its lack of sound or MIDI connectivity renders it little more than a toy.
Not a good look for the Soundprism legacy.
Most of their extras do not add a lot to the app because most of what they make are not sample based.
Graphics can add a fair footprint. In fact, these days the Arturia Bundle on the desktop is humungous specifically because of the graphics assets. They provide a huge amount of flexibility with regard to render resolution but choose not to do this via scalable vector graphics. Every one of the multitude of possible render resolutions has its own smörgåsbord of PNG graphic assets.
Not saying this will be the case with Tonestack Pro as iOS screen real-estate is fairly fixed but the graphic facias for all those 'Pot of Gold' modules will definitely add some weight.
ToneStack Pro is 285.6MB here which is the same size that is stated on the AppStore.
It's also quite light on the cpu even with complex rigs.

The only thing similar to ToneStack Pro on iOS is MixBox.
Though ToneStack Pro is guitar focused it does have more than
enough studio quality effects processors to achieve a good quality result.
If I where to recommend effects processors I would
say get either or both ToneStack Pro and MixBox
and get ToneStack Pro with the Pot of Gold.

Haha Yes, seriously…I’m not a guitarist/bassist but use studio-musicians quite often.
I have deliberately kept my eyes closed and avoided these kind of big mix apps (already got too many tools), but I’ve noticed Tonestack got a lot of praise.
The bundle is almost too huge…
Is it easy to understand and use for a non guitarist who doesn’t know every amp in history?
Do you think ToneStack Pro's "Pot of Gold" is a better choice than Overloud TH-U for synth uses? If you've tried both. I'm mostly interested in the distortions but may end up using the other fx as well.
I use Saturn 2 a lot but its fairly heavy and doesn't work on my iPhone.
I'm not a guitarist but it's always fun to run synths and other sounds thru the cabs and other effects.
Like a Moog Model D thru some pedals, speakers and BOOM!
Ref ToneStack Pro, in terms of increased weight, I've just double-checked and it's a shade over 300MB with the Pot of Gold IAP and the base app is listed on the App Store as 292.2MB. On that basis, I'd say that all the Pot of Gold assets are distributed with the base app but only enabled after the purchase of the IAP.

I've tried Overloud's TH-U but not for synth usage.
I got the basic version and after an afternoon I simply
switched ToneStack IAA back on.
It'd be worth it for you for sure.

This is a completely petty question (on the basis it’s only about $2) but as I already have Magellan 2 and Galileo 2, is there any benefit to buying the original versions?
Each of the ToneStack amps, cabs, and effects have individual descriptions that hint at which pieces of hardware they are based on and what they do.
If you consider it a preset collection with all these factory presets, it's a great bargain.
IMO Galileo 1 sounds better than 2 with a better Leslie emulation. But, as with 2, it requires a lot of tweaking to get it to sound properly good. I also think it looks nicer.
The app is not not AU which may be a limitation depending on how you use it.
I’d say you get more value and pleasure from it than you would from a $0.99 chocolate bar.
Same goes for Magellan.
If you have any of the other good Hammond apps there’s definitely no point in getting G1 though.
