Hmm perhaps I'm a noob with midi. Any idea on how to access the valve distortion?

Midi channel 10, cc 10. Subluxator found it by accident.

Ha, I've see that film. Zardoz. Weird.

Awesome! thanks! any recommendations for a midi controller app I can use to interact with tthe effect on the same device? I have nanobeat, animoog with the midi iap, arpeggionome, xynthesizr, nlog, and oscilab. I tried figuring out how to control different cc signals but I'm at a loss. :(

  • I said before Jakob, your really feeling the trap vibe...you should really make some full length trap tracks ...it's clear your enthusiasm for this style would work wonders mate

  • @t0dk0n Don't know nanobeat, I tried Animoog first, NLog would most probably work too. It feels silly to set up a midi controller just for one knob. Anyway, here's how to do it:

Oops, my bad. Meant NodeBeat, but it doesn't look like you can create custom cc mapping in that anyway. But thanks a lot dude! That was a million times easier than I imagined and you just cleared up years of lazy curiosity in one comment! Pretty cool little effect and you're right in that it's a bit silly for one knob to effect but it sounds pretty cool
