  • That's the reality of politics and the real world it's easy to be an idealist when it doesn't matter but in the real world you always have to make compromises to get anything done.

I agree. Obama promised a lot in 2008 and has accomplished many things but you never know what you are getting into until you actually have the job.

  • Politics?

I'd definitely vote for having this crappy thread deleted.

  • Ahhh the man of multiple user accounts shows up.

    Wow, you need help.

A lot of us here have done our best to keep this place from becoming a virtual toilet of personal opinions which have nothing to do with making music on iOS devices.

I think my history backs that up.

You need to take your personal agenda to a political site which is designed for it.

You must not have much of a life with all the free time you have to spam this board.

  • I spammed this board?

    What are you talking about?

Seems you have an interesting conspiracy theory going there.

    Whatever you say Captain.

    Are you for real? Seriously?

I've been a member here since April 2013.

What in the world are you talking about?

    Seriously, get help.

Politics are the least of your problems.

  • @AQ808

I don't understand your comment on the thread. Does the thread offend?

Yes the topic went off from the title, but the discussion was between the Original Poster and others, so the thread was not hijacked or taken off topic with the intention of disruption.

The discussion was civil and without malice towards any groups or individuals. I fail to see why this thread is either "crappy" or needs deleting?

It's simply a worthless political thread which would offend some, most likely the over 50 crowd the OP seems to hate.

It has no place here other than to cause consternation, and that hasn't been the etiquette of the forum, as we don't really need it to become another worthless trolling forum. Are there not enough of those already?

  • Just ignore him. He'll burn himself out like he always does. He'll just keep talking to himself until he gets tired. Nothing to see here, move along.

  • edited September 2015

Ok. I don't agree. I think the OPs views were handled better with discussion, as all views are. We all have differing views at some time in our lives, even with our nearest and dearest.

I see you require no proof whatsoever to conflate two different people together, which certainly would explain your paranoid delusions about baby boomers and baseless exultations of millennials.

    That said, show some proof.

I suppose I can ask Sebastian to look into it.

Or maybe I should add a twist by asking the Koch Brothers AND George Soros to stop funding my uncontrollable spamming of the Audiobus Forums.

Seriously, go outside and get some oxygen.

I know you don't really believe in proof or facts as you're gearing up for another season in our grand corporatocracy, which by the way, will win the election either way with either party no matter what any of us do, because, in reality, American Democracy is and always has been a complete illusion.

But, feel free to continually smear anyone who doesn't believe your worthless opinions supercede their ability to have a civil forum about the subject at hand, making music on iOS.

Seems that's your MO, after all.

  • Monzo Jnr does this thing, yeah? Where all the grown ups are having a really interesting, civilised discussion? And then half way through he'll storm in and start interrupting. You can try and ignore him, but if you do he'll just get louder, and more naughty until everyone's shouting at each other, and your nice grown-up conversation gets ruined and everyone's left feeling upset. What's that called? It's called attention seeking isn't it.

Still, he's only six so it's something we've learned to deal with until he grows up a bit.

  • Well at least no-one has started quoting Ayn Rand, yet...

  • ...nuff said....

Don't hold your breath, mine's now 13 and he's still at it :(
