ZedSynth looks really powerful, but it hardly ever gets mentioned, the one App Store review says AudioBus doesn't work and it has had no updates. So quite risky. Does it even work with iOS 9?

Must be an anomaly because Zed works just as good in iOS 9 as it did with iOS 8 for me. Audiobus works wonderfully too.

  • Thanks again everyone, I found two great synths I would have totally missed otherwise, Mitosynth and Xynsizr.

  • Glad we could help!

  • Can someone tell if Wolgang Palm's PPG MiniMapper is compatible with ios 9.0?

  • It is, (at a quick glance), w/ aufx:dub as ab effect.

  • What is the best-sounding chorus effect (mainly for 80's classic synth sounds) on the iPhone?

  • @oat_phipps: like @crzycrs said, it seems to be working. At least it is working for me.

@bixnood: I like MasterFX, Emo Chorus, and the VP-330 patch in Audulus.

I like MasterFX, Emo Chorus ...

Mr. Vasiliev seems to be very cautious with the fx amount, is the Emo a bit more permissive (or in other ways useful and gorgeous)?

  • It seems so to me. But there are other chorus apps to try too. :-)
