I guess it's iPad only?!?
Good guess, isem is ipad only
Yes, but Garage Band not
I just read a bit about this.
I'm dubious until I try it myself, but it looks really good for this platform.
I wonder once the iPad Pro comes out Apple will release the full 'ax DAW version of GarageBand for it. Like an exclusive for Pro only. Same for Photography software/Office/ect. Because of the extra Cpu power & Ram?
probably not. It might get more like it, but it's iOS after all.
But I sort know what you mean. Garageband on iOS is pretty terrible as it is. They should do...something.
I hope new Garageband with AU support will be available for the launch of Ipad Pro.
I'm sure there will be announcements made when it is released. Apple somehow will try and take some thunder away from Microsoft Surface Pro 4, and Samsung devices.
I think it would be release when the iPad Pro go live
Agreed..... It would also fantastic if they actually made GB an input in audio bus now after all these years too.
But will it have automations ? If not, I'm not interested ... still nice to see garage band evolving though
Having working AUs would be unbelievable, really.
And that's the problem.....unbelievable
I'm shelling out $$$ for this Pro, so this actually isn't that far fetched though.
I have to say after many years with iOS I have begun to toy around with the thought of a Surface Pro running Ableton, Kontakt, and so on. My wife recently got one and, man, it is enticing. I've checked out videos online of the SP3 running Live and it works nicely up to a limit, 48 tracks I think.
I think Apple has a big and urgent leap to take in making iOS and OSX competitive, by getting both to work together transparently and not be so hamstrung by the lack of a file manager on iOS.
