I just did that and GarageBand crashed on start up :O
Speakers still useless for anything people on this forum would use it for, but there was a lot of noise around.
I'm sure the rest is fine, just bigger and faster and pricier.
Split screen TJ & DJ should be awesome on it.

Interesting ^. Not sure that that implies true USB 3 though, but it seems plausible.
So frustrating this USB 3 progress is so slow... But I would gladly buy a new lightning cable for faster transfers, if/ when this materializes.

I have the feeling OSX will die in a few years and iOS is their main focus (because there is the money). When x-code will be available for iOS once , OSX is dead!
That means i have to use windows and iOS in the future :O
OS X is real. It ain't gonna die. I'm gonna be pissed if I can't have a real computer.
When are they going to learn 'organic computers' are the future, guess in time it may grow on them.

Wow this Ipad pro is a pleasure to use! Everything nice & big.
Like to share first 30 mins with music apps. No music app was working! None! Synths & drum machines.
Then thought surely garage band would work & it did, but then strangely all apps started to work!
Tried Thor again & heard a pop sound from the bottom right speaker

Continued: nothing worked again, no apps. Garage band again and all apps worked again. Third time tried Thor again and it worked! God knows what's going on il see next few days, maybe give apple a buzz.

What i mean is, that apple maybe push iOS to a full blown OS in some years. They want control over the store etc.
A main thing i don´t like about the iPad Pro. The app store is great and so but i always want to have the choice to install and buy things direct from my prefered third party developers.
A "simple" switch from touch to a common desktop OS would be fine for me. I´m sure they already working on a touch based OS X (or much more advanced iOS) in the background. If that ever comes to light?..... Not sure!
The market will show if the iPad Pro was a good deal.

Right now it is a prototype I am working on for a new app the name will be Splinter Sound Machine, I am writing it to take advantage of the new size, and also scale to other sizes.

The home screen looks so empty on it! Really apple? Still no custom homescreen.... on a pro????
It looks and feels good but with all the limits and missing features from an iPhone 6S etc. it´s def. better to see how the iPad Pro 2 will be a real pro tablet. I wish iOS developers would migrate more to win 10 and make some really touch optimized apps.
There are really awesome apps out there and i´m sure some will use what the iPad Pro offers but most of my apps on the iPad felt so wasted in many ways where they could be so much more on a multi-touch device with a full OS, file system etc. etc.
I wish apple would be not so famous, it would be heaven if all the great developers would make the same apps for a surface (or other more open multi-touch devices).
I took my hand on it and it is all great but at the end it is what it is..... a giant iPod touch :P
Strange, i never was more dissapointed by any product of apple but at the same time i left the store with a "want" feeling! Hard to get out of the cage
