Hehe, looks mad on a phone!

Still haven't bought WOW Filter, feeling a bit skint after the TC purchases. Maybe next time...

Updat: Bought, couldn't resist in the end.

I've had that sinking, guilty feeling this morning...the one i get when I've spent too much money on apps. It'll pass, but I need to knuckle down and focus on the ones I have now, and not buy any more. Unless something really good and new comes out.

Based on this I'm not sure I want it.
    Great tune though!

Guessing I have till the end of the day to decide...

Possibly the worst promotional video I've ever seen.

Ignore that completely, it's a very versatile and powerful FX app - my all time favourite, and I've got a few. If you use Auria I'd say it was essential.

    That vid was a joke!

If I saw this video (only) and had to make a decision based on that, I would have never bought it. "One knob does it all" ... whatever.

To be honest, I don't even remember if I saw a video before I purchased, but after I did get it I was amazed!

    Proppa Stuff!

I have found new love for Turnado recently.

I've finally worked out how to:

    - hook Turnado into MTS as an IAA effect on an iSem AU track

    - create a second midi track specifically for automating Turnado

    - get everything sounding just right in terms of automating effects via midi across your whole track

    - then switch all other MTS tracks to mute and record the master out to a new audio track

No AB chains needed. Nice workflow. Should work in theory.

Anyone know if Turnado remembers midi learn assignments between sessions and when changing patches? That would be very handy.

Now that's what it's all about!  And more.. (Better).
  • Well I bought it finally. And so far I'm not sure it was the right decision. Mostly because of the tinyness on my mini.

But I think I'll grow to love it. So many knobs and switches to manipulate. Going to have to figure out how to dial back the effects a bit. The presets are quite overpowering.

Hopefully sugar bytes can figure out a better way than zooming in to display this stuff on the screen so it's not so microscopic.

Ah right, would be fiddly on an iMini. I'd recommend clicking the 'edit' button for each effect, to access the edit menu. There's a 100 times more fun to be had in there - though it'll be a struggle to use the buttons on the mini.

Agree with this tip. Took me a long time to cotton on to the fact that this is where the real toys are to be played with...
  • It was definitely worth my time to watch a couple of videos on the edit screen. There's a lot of power there.

  • Wow thats all! weak update but I guess Its lil better

I'm embarrassed to admit that promo video was actually helpful to me, even after owning the app for well over a year...I must have never used this app in Portrait mode. I had only ever used it in Landscape and secretly hated that you had to go to different screens to edit, seemed totally counter-intuitive.

*puts dunce cap on, sits in corner*
  • Dude I am with you! HAHA oh my, but my excuse is my iPad is is an alexis dock so.... But still dunce I am haha

Cause it doesn't go to 11. Am I right?
