My inability to gel with Auria Pro bummed me out on iOS for awhile but I picked up Beathawk and it's pretty fun. I might actually keep samples in this app since it uses the heretical "folders" concept
i figured out how to import entire folders. if you change the settings for the iCloud "locations" setup, AUDIOSHARE is an option. enable Audioshare and it's almost as awesome as official compatibility--you can import entire folders, with subfolders, and Beathawk maintains the file order. No more need for general pasteboard & dreadful file-renaming sessions!
Now I'm trying to remember what other apps have that iCloud option, Audioshare snuck in there and it's great.
Oh, that is promising indeed young Jedi....
Everyone send this photo to the invisible Gadget devs, we're going four layers deep into sample managememt here.
i'm imagining a korg dev stomping a boot on my file management needs forever...
What are the original prices for the packs? I'm considering the Choir sounds amazing!
The sale announcement said 50% off everything so multiply by 2. I've been using the acoustic grand & choirs nonstop the last few days & just picked up the Mellotron pack (even though I have most of the same sounds in M3000 but its nice to have it inside the app).
I hope they add more instrument packs cuz I loathe using loops.
@JohnnyGoodyear : Thanks!
I understand by reading comments that most expansions are worth the price . So , is there an expansion I should avoid? (I plan to buy almost all of them)
Depends on music taste. The only ones I'm not keen on are Scratch and Talk Vox, but that's just a taste thing.
Even if you have certain sounds in other apps, the packs are worth having.
What he said essentially. Depends on your thing/toast etc. I end up using the keyboards and the choirs mostly, but that's because I import a lot of my own rubbish....good luck!
UVI tells me on twitter more packs are in the works for 2016.
