Why, did you use to keep it in the freezer?
Hang on. You're suggesting I should put my barely-used-these-days iPad 1 in the freezer to preserve the battery?
it's an old hard drive preservation technic that I still use....
@supadom so you think I should update the iPad to the latest?
This is the $1000k question. I've been playing small gigs on my Air 2 stuck on 8.4.1. Running audiobus at 128 frames with my usual bunch of apps sync' to loopy: sunrizer, Magellan, turnado, tonestack, samplr and mimix. I've never had any issues so I'm basically treating it as a hardware rig. Always in flight mode other then for times when I need to pull some new samples off Dropbox. I have another air 2 which I was going to use as a test machine for new iOS versions but I still don't trust taking the plunge but I've tried this same set up in my gf's mini retina and it all worked fine.
Putting a HD in the freezer, wasn't that a method for fixing a bust drive. That's what I seem to remember. Funny yet...whatever works.
yea, but sometimes I stored them that way too. still have a couple of busted drives i need to find a way to recover files from that are in the fridge right now
hmm well at this point I wonder it's not like Samplr could get worse..... or could it.
I had a friend in New York who kept her placenta in the freezer for a number of years. Nice woman, an excellent cook.
keep your placenta away from my Samplr please.
