  • It's good you're pacing yourself and I think there would be fewer nasty voice posts if people realized what you're going through. Unfortunately the Internet is full of judgemental people expressing themselves and definitely a shortage of people like yourself who try to focus on positive things, keep up their spirits, and try to help others as you have and do for all of us. I hope you receive the best of care and take breaks whenever you feel the need to do so or perhaps even more often than that, we'll still be here.

  • Take care Doug, and get well soon.

  • Get well soon Doug.

  • Hope you feel better soon Doug . Love watching your reviews , even if I do end up spending way too much hard cash in the App Store afterwards !

  • Best wishes to you and Jo!

  • Doug! Be well good man. Epic congrats on cutting out the booze and the smokes. And sorry that after accomplishing that it didn't clear up the rest of this business! A man should be rewarded for such things.

You're always a bit of an inspiration in the 'just do it' category at least. Reading your take on current events only inspires me more and in more varied ways. Merry Christmas to you and the Ms. Jo and Mr. Dog.

  • Ouch..quite a long list mate

Glad ur getting expert care but do research alternative therapies too

If u can balance it without too many allopathic pills and their side effects..u will have more energy

If u had a mini stroke..that means cut out fatty foods and especially red meat mate..u can get protein from soy products

    Anyway take care

Wow, thanks so much everybody, I'm OK most of the time and Jo makes sure I don't overdo anything, I've lived with all this for ages now, but making the videos and tracks and stuff really does make me feel better, its just takes me ages to write anything or make long posts.

I'll post the site thing I wrote in here so you all know what it is. I really didn't want to bother you all with it, I mentioned it on the site because I have to shorten all my posts for a bit. Anyway here it is..

Thanks everyone, they think my eye problem may have been caused by a TIA or ministroke.
Basically I have double vision and warped vision in my right eye, I can’t drive and I have to make all my videos with one eye closed at the moment.
They are taking care of me very well at the hospital.

I also have a few other problems, so I’ll give guys a brief rundown.
And honestly I’m not complaining, I’m just happy I’m still here.
I have a diesese called Auto Immune Pancreatitis, it took six months to diagnose this because it’s quite rare and very painful.
For this I’m on steroids which make me diabetic, for the diabetes I’m on Metformin and Gliclazide.
The main thing is trying to get me off the steroids, so I’m also taking an imuno suppressent drug called Mecaptapurine.

I also have malignant hypertension, if not treated my blood pressure goes mental, last year, you may recall, that put me in hospital, That’s when the AI Pancreatitis kicked off too, so I was in mega pain and they didn’t know what it was.

For the blood pressure control I take Ramapril, Doxisosin and Amlodipin, not sure the spellings are correct, lol.

I’m also on Statins too for the rest of my live long life.

I have blood tests every week.
I’ve had 8 scans, two MRI’s plus a few other less than enjoyable procedures including a EUS which involved them sticking a tube down my throat and snipping bits of my pancreas

Sometimes people make comments about my voice on the YT Channel, that’s quite hurtful, but they don’t know do they.

I don’t smoke, anymore, nor do I drink.

    But I’m still happy

  • Thoughts and prayers for your health and recovery....

  • All the best Doug. Hope things settle down soon.

  • I wish you speedy recovery, Doug. Merry Christmas.
