A tiny lil audio technia condenser mic through the irig pro with the beat step into my 5s works pretty well for me...

This is mine right now. Not pictured are my guitars, and of course my iPad. I need a bigger table.

    Nice B)

Along the lines of what im moving towards (but without guitar) ... how do ypu connect ios to your hardware ?

I use the Apogee Jam interface. It was made for guitars, but works with synths as well. Just plug your 1/4" output of your instrument into the Apogee Jam, and then use the Apple CCK into the iPad (or iPhone).

  • This glorious mess is my studio set up. The piano bench is in the way of the pedal board on the floor and I have some other basses hanging on another wall. Not very organized but I know where everything is and what everything does. Mostly :)

  • @Ben, love the red phone.

  • @jooga1972. Really good stuff. Nicely done.

I bet it sounds pretty cool in there.

  • Somewhat modest compared to what others are posting.

  • I use my iPhone as a sound source but I was using it to take the picture

  • I'm mainly software (w/ the Blofeld in the first pic). But slapped a tiny wiggly TV stand next to it all last winter, with some stuff (all synced & hooked up as a "stand-alone groovebox TV stand" lol).

  • Nice set up !! How did you manage to get your paws on a minilogue ??? What do you think of it ?
Got a link to your music ?

  • Hi all! I just posted a video tour of my finished Home Studio

  • Here’s the current iteration of my little “Creative Corner” of the bedroom.

Bought the new Novation Launchpad Pro Mk3 and basically had to rebuild everything around it.

Post because I mainly forget and redo my setup but think now I will practice more as its proper jammable.

Although Battalion will make me reconfigure, im sure.

It should still be similar to now.

Either Battalion will have a loopy screen controller and gauss on faderfox pc12.

Or gauss on screen and battalion on faderfox pc12.

The ipad on the right is just for swam control.

    Sound sources are pretty much.

    7 Euclidean drums.

    1 Euclidean bass.

    2 Mononoke.

    2 steel guitar.

    A piano to 88 key.

    A synth to launchpad.

    A mic input.

    A scratch deck input.

    6 Swam

    2 String Swam

    1 Pianteq Vibraphone type.

    2 Gauss

    Thats 25 sound sources

There isnt really any reason to switch apps unless the swam ipad became say a shoom or something.

So style of music when messing about live tweaking.

Will always sound kind of samey because always having accessable acoustic type instruments.

If i had the money Id still by an ipad air or pro.

So perhaps different music made, away from this live setup.

    Dunno though.

This system type is good because the live jam ability does assist in music making ideas.

and another ipad system means more ipad replacements.

I may hold off writing on faderfox pc12 till battalion arrives.

    Hard to rub of writing.

Have an ok memory for what knobs do anyway.
