Not having Background Audio but having Link is remarkably stupid.
Well I had a long discussion with Henrik it was I belive and with @Sebastian I do understand it to a certain degree but I just don't get why background audio, if you have to turn it on in the iPhone Settings dialog (not the app itself) is going to be any more confusing than having to turn on Link in the first place.

In any case I like Auxy and will use it because Davide's Sounds (7Skies) alone are worth it and because their engine is very powerful soundwise.

I admire auxy's dedication to simplicity. They have built one of the most streamlined user experiences on iOS. Brilliant. At the same time, they tend to err on the side of too simple imho. but maybe that is even a necessary philosophy if you want to keep things as simple and easy to use as they have.
I have to Po myself on this one.
That is weak. I've given these guys some leeway, but I'm beginning to turn. At least give us the option of turning background audio on if we want. If you're confused by the term "background audio" then I can't help you further. Put down the phone.

The Auxy development team has definitely gone the route of appealing to the masses so they want an app with a very low common denominator in terms of ease of use. I enjoy combining various sound sources and effects so their approach doesn't really meet my needs.
