Triq Traq: Never ceases to impress.........
Triq Traq is really just an amazing app.
I often forget how much until I dive again into it.
Only hopes is for landscape mode. With that - it would literally become a structural piece for my work.
Has anyone heard if that is in the future?
Comments
@RustiK haven't heard of anything but I definitely agree! All apps should have landscape mode![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I really like using trip trap now that it has link. Everything is so smooth!
I think of Triq Traq when we talk about simplifying. Its limitations/constraints always make me get somewhere because of them...
No landscape has been the single reason I've yet to purchase this app.
I love TriqTraq, it's one of my go tos on the iPhone for sure.
I have evolved a keen sense of reverting 45 degree imagery into a usable mental landscape.
In other words, I tweak my neck and strain my eyes when using IPAD.
I also like to use it while driving car on IPhone. Its like a video game of making music and staying alive.
Get yourself one of those self driving Teslas. You're risking other people's lives, not just yours and it's not really a video game.
I love most everything about this app but struggle getting useful melodic results from the pitch modulation. Any tips?
It's not?
I'm sorry, I had to.
I use it at intersections, at lights, etc.
+2 for landscape mode
please please pretty please
With sugar on top ....
This is on my big list of things I'd like but fear will never see, just behind Song Mode for Xynth.
CAN an app be designed that can change its orientation from one to the other AND move the control surfaces to their new destinations on the screen landscape? I have yet to see a music app that does what I'm thinking.
Finally got comfortable with Triqtraq, now one of my favorites. Blocs Wave is great sample resource for this. Just cut your samples easily with the new trigger mode and batch em over to mess with the Triqtraq automation effects. The results are nice and gooey.
Triqtraq is of my alltime faves. Including Link and AB support it has all the things that I want, although a landscape UI would be nice, it's not really useable on a iPad in portret mode.
Of all the 'I want landscape' TriqTrq may be the one I would use the most comparatively if the devs added it...
Heh, several times I thought 'hey why am I not using TriqTraq more?' i load it up and... Oh yah right.
Same here. I just can't do portrait (blushes)
It could be so easy— just have let it letterbox when in landscape. Slightly ugly, but it is a simple interface so the controls will still be very functional.
All of us ugly but functional people support this message.
btw another app that I also would like to see with a landscape mode is tweaky beats.
And impaktor
Lucky
PLEASE ELABORATE!
I bought TriqTraq.
Somebody here recommended it.
But I didn't get it on first try so gave up.
I was wrong.
It's fantastic, with limitations.
Would love to know exactly how to bring in samples from Blocs.
Would love a Song Mode, a la DM1.
Would love to be able to export stems.
Yeah, sure, Landscape Mode.
I'd pay an IAP for any of those.
Is the dev active?
Is an update happening?
I'm a huge fan.
I seem to have composed this
in portrait mode
in honor of TriqTraq.
+1 well done.
Samples from Blocs is easy-peasy:
Pick your sample/time
paste to clipboard
go into Triq
choose a compatible bpm if required
hit 'Kits'
choose a pad to 'Load' to
paste
hit 'Kits' again to go back out
test
place via step or live
go mad/full joy etc....
But is that one at a time?
I have to say, the repitching abilities are unlike anything else out there. Plus the limitations of the 16th-note grid force some imaginative workarounds.
@ExAsperis99
Go into Blocs and load up a shit ton of loops, 8 for each section, that's 48.
Now you enable slice mode on all of them.
In slice mode, make sure it's set to just one bar. Also make sure playback is STOPPED. Also, enable slice record and the newish trigger option (to play full slice with one tap)
Now all you do is find a slice you want to sample, and simply trigger it so it goes right at the beginning of that one bar.
When all is said done you can export sections and each pad to a zip file in Audioshare, then unzip.
When you go into triq traq, you can have audio share open at the same time and can quite rapidly copy the sample over one at a time since triq traq has an import from audio share option.
Awesome!
