Go into Blocs and load up a shit ton of loops, 8 for each section, that's 48.

Now you enable slice mode on all of them.

In slice mode, make sure it's set to just one bar. Also make sure playback is STOPPED. Also, enable slice record and the newish trigger option (to play full slice with one tap)

Now all you do is find a slice you want to sample, and simply trigger it so it goes right at the beginning of that one bar.

When all is said done you can export sections and each pad to a zip file in Audioshare, then unzip.

When you go into triq traq, you can have audio share open at the same time and can quite rapidly copy the sample over one at a time since triq traq has an import from audio share option.

    Awesome!

Mind bendingly modern! I don't hold with it! I craft each loop individually and polish them with the sweat of small children specifically restrained for the purpose etc.!

bunch of mad scientists. never dawned on me to load long samples into triqtraq. Is there a tie function?

  • No tie function. If it's a long sample you have to give it space to play. No interrupting with another sound on the same track.

I've recently been rediscovering triqtraq over the last month. I find myself reaching for it whenever I have a minute or two to myself constantly.

I love it. Something to be said for how good its stock kits sound, too.

It's great when a music app is fun AND powerful sans learning curve.

  • Triqtraq rules. I really need to make some kits for it.
