@db909 It has Audiocopy. On the browser page if you tap a song file there is a button that takes you to the export options. The button is to the left and opposite the delete button.

Wow I had no idea. Thank you! Guess I was looking in all the wrong places

  • @db909 yeah, it got shifted around once or twice and they didn't make it obvious to find.

While I don't think they've done the best with it over the years (read: what I, me, me, me want) and while it's also true that after a certain number of Figures I began to feel they were too samey, I do like it sometimes as a small riff or fill maker for something that's already under way elsewhere...

  • I agree with you Johnny.

  • They should be focusing on Reason. It's falling further and further behind other DAWs, the RE sdk is still floundering, they still don't even have mixer fader groups or sample loading in RE. The flagship sampler in reason is the NNXT and hasn't changed since reason3/4. It's a joke that they are piss farting around with shit like this when they have a loyal and paying user base getting frustrated and migrating to other software. Ableton is killing them with link and push2.

  • [Note to self as regards future business practices: Don't piss fart around with shit.]

I'm glad I'm not alone. I've been annoyed with all these things as well.

    Hey guys,
not feeling the same way. The RE SDK in my opinion has its strengths, there are enough good releases on the RE front that are proof of this.
The Sampler is good and while the outside may have not changed the inside has. You sample directly into it, multilayering editing etc. Its all there, sure its no Kontakt or Mach Five but look at EXS in Logic, that one is even older and still a very good plugin sampler to use.

I still think reason is the most creative of all DAW's. It is for me, the things I do in Reason have more Soul than what I do in Logic Pro or Ableton, I can't help it. :)

In any case, the market is a free one, use what best suits your workflow and make some music with it :)

    Cheers

I was reading the iTunes reviews and one of them mentioned that the export options are now gone. Can anyone confirm, or deny that the iTunes, Soundcloud and Audiocopy exports have been REMOVED in the latest version?

@asnor I just checked: The options are still present in the new Figure version. I can confirm that AudioCopy and ITunes export work :), did not test SoundCloud export.

But i am still going back to the previous version, as i don't like that the Allihoopa banner wastes so much screenspace. I will not login there, so i don't need it at all.

  • Boy they are getting hammered in the iTunes reviews for the move to Allihoopa. Glad I don't automatically update all my apps, though I usually keep most of them pretty updated. I'll have to skip updating this one, it just adds to the list of apps that i have to remember to skip over for fear of accidentally ruining it (AlienBlue for Reddit is another one).
