Multiple AU Extensions coming to AUM
Nice

Also, full list of what has been added for next update, so far:
Wow, great list! Do you actually sleep?
I do! About 7 hours every night
@j_liljedahl
Bring it on!
Awesome!
What! You sleep 7 hours while making the rest of us get only 4?
@j_liljedahl that was quick!
Any chance you could convince other devs to implement a function for autosaving the current preset with the AUM's project name? (and loading!)
Per week....
Wow, that is an amazing list! Really glad about the new defaults for sends and filters.
I hate to ask after reading all that but is 'Duplicate Channel' on your future/maybe list by chance?
Most prio right now is quantized rec-stop, to make clean loops. Not sure 'duplicate mode' will get into the update I'm currently working on.
Sweet. I'd rather see that too!
Jisses!
This will be awesome and I feel it will not stop here but keep improving for some time to come.
Who knows maybe there are some distant plans to make a 'Kymatica Sampler' that integrates well with AUM as AUi and shares storage-space with AudioShare. One can always dream
That is one of my dreams too If only there was time to implement all my apps-to-make dreams..
Excellent!
@j_liljedahl fantastic - Thank You !
People are always saying this about things, me too, too often, but THIS THIS THIS with extra THISNESS.
Glad to see that there is more to AU extensions than what was initially believed and what's commonly said about them in places like these forum or Facebook by other developers. Great to see actual examples and possibilities.
Thank you! :-)
You still have to have some AU plugins to actually use. No one is saying they are bad or useless, it's just that there's not enough of them yet to get the DAW devs killing themselves to get them in. Everyone is saying they'll be an improvement on IAA.
Wow. Thank you, Mr. Liljedahl!
WoW and smile on my face too thx....
Litlle wink to @Sebastian & @j_liljedahl Too a favorites folder in the appselecter on top of the list of AB & AUM would be handy...our lists are growing and growing
in AUM yonathan choose folders for same apps of DEVs, one step forward, but inconsistent aum on iphone and ipad have dif. Lists.
Ipad:
Sonosaurus folders are only Drumjam, thumbjam is still in top big list
Iphone
No sonosaurus folder.
I wonder there are differents between iphone & ipad version thought its "universal"
Thx
The list is weird, some apps are not showing the right names. There are some sorting options, though, so maybe you have different ones selected on iPhone and iPad? I agree there should be a quicker way to get to the IAA apps. I'd love to have a little search bar at the top of the list and alphabet shortcuts on the right.
^this.
what a massive update,thanks for the hard work!
Great job, thanks @j_liljedahl
A couple of things I hope could be added for future inclusion. Folders for session files, I'm already getting a long list because of how much I'm using AUM, folders would make organising sessions easier.
Also when you save a session with bypassed nodes, when you reload the session the nodes are loaded active. It would be useful for them to remain inactive when loaded unless that is difficult to implement.
I've only just started using the IAA port naming convention that allows for the groupings in my beta versions. You haven't installed the DJ beta on your phone perhaps? And TJ beta isn't ready yet
Other devs, that convention is to prefix all port names in the IAA metadata with "YOURCOMPANY: "
This is actually a convention that Apple itself respects, along with other some other apps.
There's no difference in AUM's implementation of this list on iPad and iPhone. You probably have selected different sorting options?
The "last used" sort option is kind of a "favorite" list, since the apps you use the most are sorted at the top!
Note that the apps are sorted into company sections only if you sort on Company. If sorted on Name only, the company name is ignored when sorting (thus breaking the company-grouping, of course).
Also note that a lot of IAA apps has totally missed adding their company name to their IAA port names.
Search bar and/or alphabetical jump-list is on my TODO
Good points! Will look into it.
Yay!
