These days, I listen to https://somafm.com (Drone Zone & Deep Space One channels mostly.) I have an extensive collection of all kinds of challenging music, but these days chill out to on-line stuff, or play with my gear.

Hey! My stuff is on there! Look out for æther generator.

SomaFM is the best: my pick is Cliqhop for the freshest clicky abstract beats.

10cc are criminally under appreciated. Criminally I tell you.

I've got some stuff on there too. No idea how or why as I never promoted it. Was cool to stumble into though!

Speaking of which, any Sea and Cake fans here?

I remember the day I first heard 'I'm not in love' on the radio. There aren't many time your ears tell you you're listening to something indefinably new but that was one of them...

10cc, Godley & Creme and Eric Stewart...the music from that era is massively overlooked. If you read about the production of "I'm Not In Love" you'll see the ingenuity they had...tape loop vocal fader "keyboard" deal plus the cool middle eight.

I used to get more time on my 4s. I think iOS updates have bit into that. I now get about 3.5 hours of use on ios8.4.1
Curious what you get and which iOS?
This morning it shut down on me at 4%. Plugged it in and 5mins later it was at 53%. ????

I do like my 4s though so try to take good care of it.

  • I really limit the time on the phone but am amazed by how quickly it charges. The battery drain is always surprising to me. It seems like if i leave it on the charger for way beyond the 100% mark that it drains much slower initialy and locks in at 100 for quite a while. Does not seem linear at all. But yah for the most part i just use it for about ten minute bursts with the occasional thirty minute actual talky. You know you can talk to people with these things too? crazy!

  • Shouts to @FlightManual for the Cliqhop mention - enjoying that a whole lot. x
