Had a total crash freeze up tonight running a bunch if synths through aum with Auxy triggering them. Had to give him a hard reboot totally froze up lol
Yes, with the Apple Toast Machine Connection Adapter Kit ($99.99)
V, good. Not a bad app name actually. Prolly already taken.
Camera Connection Kit + USB Toaster FTW!

Had my "light bulb" moment just now with AUM!
Since it can play the same audio file in multiple channels I can run my voice over through different FX apps for a quick AB back and forth to hear what I like best! Heck I can do a ABCDEFGHI...
I can do this much much faster than any other setup. I love me some Audioshare and now with AUM I see how this will help produce better voice overs and faster!
Thanks again @j_liljedahl @Kymátika
I am happy to see this.
I literally was just going to weigh in on this thread to say give a little more time. The app has something for everyone - it is just a matter of figuring it out.
That is mainly do to the app being a virtual blank slate of music and IOS production.
Maybe you can have the title of the thread changed now...........
I just had a moment of joy with building an aimless, but fun, jam in Loopy HD. Each loop sounded great, but added up to a clipping mess with all the layers playing together. I spent a few minutes routing each Loopy track into AUM and adjusting EQ for each track, then routing all tracks thru a sub-group with limiter.
= Instantly better sound.
That's the thing that I keep using AUM for: making things sound better. The filters, the EQ, the stereo field settings, the fx: it all adds up to a better mix and a better overall sound.
What AU effects are you guys mostly using with AUM?
Bing, bing, bing...
I am just quick to use the very simple Blat' Bunch of apps.
I will grab this new one today as well.
Plus Jonathan is converting his F/x apps to AU as well.
So I am all good on F/x
I need more instruments now! LOLO
Done.
And I know it might have come across as a negative title but the point I was trying to get across, along with my initial post, was that I bought this app at full price just because I love Audioshare so much and I wanted to support an outstanding developer.
Never mind. Figured better to ask on AUM forum
That's great! You can also have a single channel playing the file, choose "bus A" as its output, then add any number of channels where you choose "bus A" as input, and add different effects on those. That would be a bit cheaper on the CPU, and make it easier to set up (only need to load the file you want once).
This is mentioned in the bundled Users Guide as "signal splitting".
Awesome!!! I hadn't thought of that!
Which reminds me I really should start on my planned series of tutorial videos!
But first I have a very fat AUM 1.1 update to release..
Well done. Hungry wolves await you. But......the vids would be most welcome....
that's great to hear. But I also totally like it when a developer just drops a tip like that into a discussion!
Fat is good for you!
