DrumJam 1.3.3 - Link support, AB Remote, 3D touch, BTLE
DrumJam v1.3.3 is live, heading your way soon from the Apple servers!
(It usually takes up to a few hours to propagate, at first)
- Added Ableton Link integration.
- Added Audiobus Remote triggers, updated to latest SDK
- Added Bluetooth LE MIDI support
Added 3D touch support for iPhone 6S/6S+, usable for velocity or repeat rate control on pads. Controls for it show up in the repeat rate popup.
Fixed various Inter-app audio lifecycle issues, avoids being a zombie
- Fixed stuck auto-repeat via midi input
- Fixed issue where loop vol/pan didn't change when set via CC during pending change
- Stop hits are not played if loop is muted and now respect pan/vol of loop
- Other bug fixes

So, so weird...
I was just wondering what happened to this update and searched the forum for "DrumJam" just now - ONE MINUTE AFTER YOU POSTED THIS! Spooky!

Are you ready to work on the improved sampling capability in Thumbjam now? I promise I've tried to be patient and a good little boy!!

So (although i've not had a chance to try this out yet) - it should now be very possible to jam drums in DrumJam - with midi out pointing to a drumkit within Gadget - (create a load of scenes in Gadget and just let them run through) and record the midi in Gadget....
All perfectly in sync because both Gadget and DrumJam now have LINK.
Leaving you free to tweak later in Gadget's piano roll.

Very nice update! I was hoping for the inclusion of user kits with velocity layered sample support too. Is that still planned for a future version @sonosaurus?

Just been jamming along with Gadget. Super good.
All in absolutely perfect in sync.
It would be nice to get some midi access to the mixer page in Gadget (hoping for that in the next update) which, with a hardware or software midi controller, would allow you to switch on and off (fade in and out) different Gadget synth tracks.
You could do the same thing with ModStep to good effect now, probably (I believe it has midi access to its clips page - and it's on LINK).
Sigh, it is still planned, but this cycle of updates had to come first.
