  • Great band and for a while there a great way to pick up girls....The 2001 re-release of Damage with Fripp (this was when I was older and the girls were long gone) got a lot of play also...

  • My two fav bands when young were Bauhaus and Japan. When they split Peter Murphy did an album with Mick Karn under Dalis Car.

    Not heard much Bauhaus apart from the obvious bela Lugosi , might have to check that too

    Yeah. Very much. He got me into ambient, whatever that is, when I was sure I wouldn't like music like that. Great elastic stuff.

    Yah that would have been the entry for me too. I dove into a lot of 'New Age' stuff right after because of that album (as it was marketed here) but that album was the only one that stayed with me through the ambient Orb and FSOL 90s and beyond.
