  • Feeding Fugue Machine into Gadget and playing with all the synths is very fun...

  • edited March 2016

@RJB Forgive my ignorance, haven't had a chance to really open it up yet. You're running Gadgets sounds via Fugue?

  • edited March 2016

Advanced midi mode lets you now use this as a multi-timbral sound module with other sequencers like Fugue Machine, Auria Pro, Cubasis, etc.

    The fun starts now.....

  • Korg need update the user guide (2015.06.01 right now).

  • OMG! iDS10 now supports iPhone 5, I can finally run it on the go! w00t!

What he said, this takes Gadget up an other notch.

  • When messing with Fugue Machine it feels like a simplified version of a AUM with volume controls and basic EQ and FXs on the Korg synthesizers.

  • Looking forward to you trailblazers, you know, blazing a trail for us slower dogs to follow...

  • I'm stumped. How do you assign individual channels to individual devices?

  • Any suggestions on Xynthesizr driving gadget now?

No. Never. Sacrifice to the Boffins and hold on tight for their wise counsel!

  • To the Batmobile... I mean the App Store.

Welp, works perfectly. You can set different notes going out to different channels!

  • I'm confused :#

Nice! Clip launching Gadget with Modstep. Would be much better if clip launching was built in but still good stuff.

Yep. Nice. Have you tried pre creating 20+ 16 bar scenes in Gadget and recording your performance?

Not yet, I just did the clip launching for now, I need to put more effort into those clips before I start thinking about how to best record them.

  • Maybe I'll re-try the IAP transfer process with both versions updated. I have iM1 on iPad2, and was hoping to send over the corresponding Gadget to my iPhone 6s, but the process was painfully slow and hung up. Didn't work.

It turned out to be easy and 'out of the box' for me: load Fugue Machine and Gadget in AUM or Audiobus; set FM's MIDI To to Gadget and set Output Channels to 1,2,3,4. Then make 4 tracks in Gadget and load a gadget for each track. Than load a pattern and hit Play in Fugue Machine and voila (or ecoutela)...

EDIT: In Gadget's Settings: MIDI Input must be 'Advanced'.
EDIT2: it's a pity that both FM and Gadget don't show their IAA-toolbars...

  • It works! I tried it both in Auria and MTS. Set up 4 Gadget tracks in Auria. Nice!

  • This seems like good news. I'd still like to get MIDI out, and use Gadget as a sequencer for my hardware.

Thanks for this. Something for me to stumble over and aspire to :)

Channel mapping! Now if only Xynthesizr would get Link, all would be right with the world.
