Oscilab should work also.
In the meantime, Xynthesizer responds very well to AUM's IAA-clock (and that's linked to Link)!
Genius!
I would be very grateful if you could screen shot this set-up as regards how AUM looks.....
Nice update. Of course appreciated. Too bad the transport buttons couldn't have been added to the full screen gadget mode. Maybe next update.
Oscilab with Ableton Link driving Gadget would be great. Would be nice if it gets Linked.
This would seem to indicate that the KORG nanoKEYStudio must be very near release. I've already set aside my $$$ for that controller. Seems like an excellent mobile device. Very excited!
Jakob Haq has already (!) created a video showing Fugue Machine sending out individual MIDI channels into Gadget. This is a GREAT update for Gadget!
Anyone know if the play/stop/record transport buttons in Gadget are exposed to midi at all?
Be good to be able to send it start stop messages from, say midi designer pro or mod step.
I can't get xynthesizr to sync with iaa, it reconise the bpm but doesn't sync start
KORG also made iDS-10 32-bit compatible for older devices, which I read on Discchord right after I spent all my itunes credit.
Updated Gadget on both my iPad and my iPhone 6+, but it's still impossible for me to perform a remote install of Darwin on my iPhone. I'd hoped this would be remedied by the next update (I'm not one of the people who get hangups/crashes while the Remote Install is happening, I'm one of the ones who can't even get the Remote Install option to appear in the first place).
I was guessing at something more complicated Thank you.
Excited, so I hooked up my Beatstep Pro to play three parts on Gadget on an iPad3. Channel One to synth, Channel Two to another synth, Channel Ten to Drums. Hit play andskrzrz-rrr-rr-rrz-rrr----r.
I conclude that the iPad3 processor may not be able to handle this amount of information in Gadget. I always forget this will probably happen when I get my hopes up. Oh well.
would it be just greedy asking for midi out ? the simplicity of the gadget work flow sequencing other apps and hardware can you see it happening ??
Damn! I just uninstalled Gadget cause I got bored always having to find equivalent sounds when working outside of it
So how do you get Gadget to begin recording?
You can record the audio from Gadget in AUM of course, or you can record Xynthesizr's midi in Gadget (hit record and play there after you've started Xsyntesizr manualy).
