From the auriaforum, about the new draw mode: 'To move a note: just tap and move it. No need to long tap.

    • To delete a note - long tap on the note.
    • To draw a highlight - no need to double-tap. Just drag the highlight around some notes.
    • To add a new note - just tap where there isn't a note. No need to long tap.
    • To change the length of a note - no need to long tap. Just tap on the end of a note and drag to change its length.
    • To add a new note and set its length at the same time, just tap where there isn't a note, and while your finger is still on the screen drag to set its length.
    • To scroll around or zoom, use two fingers. One finger scrolling is not supported in this mode'

    How are you finding it?

  • The piano roll editing? Musical I'd say, easy & straightforward. Intuitive.

  • was hoping the stuck notes bug would be fixed, but no. :(

it happens when sending midi out to say, ism20, and you stop during a note while its playing and it wont stop. but if you play the melody to the end, then there is no issue. this only happens when sending midi out, no issues that i remember with iaa.

I can hear stuck notes with ipolysix and iSem, but not with Gadget or ThumbJam (as audiobus inputs).

There is a list of a few apps affected and Those which work

  • Wow. Auria is insane. Now I know what all the fuss is about. Excellent work on this update!

Actually blown away by how full featured this is.

  • Amazing work! I love mixing in Auria, and the fix for the adjacent midi note issue should go a long way in making midi editing and instrument work more pleasant. :)

  • Minor issues with adjacent notes still - I can sequence them in just fine, but after a period of time (possibly after moving the part around) some notes will randomly join together. What's the best way to report the bug? To be fair I'll be playing MIDI keyboard more often than not so its not a huge problem. But it'd still be good to get it sorted!

Out of curiosity, perhaps it is happening when you use the "join" command? I noticed this behavior when joining using 2.0.1.

  • I haven't used the join command, no. But I think it's when I manipulate the part in any way like dragging, resizing, moving, copying or pasting. I thought I'd hit a polyphony limit but it'd randomly glued a bunch of notes together haha.
