This app is a monster. It is universal. It is only 1 page.
Loaded with filters and modulations. Midi friendly including learn.
Formant/Vox filters
Granular filters
FM options
ARP
Sequencer
Great for hard, dark, and dynamic. Best synth I bought in last 6 months.

One of the few synth apps I don't have. Is there no resonance on the filters? I like the oscilloscope.
?
+1 totally agree
You tease
If you count the asterisks it looks like it could be the word 'shitty' - or 'shorty', which makes no sense. Neither does 'shifty', or 'shadow'.
But I've never tried the app.
I think he might mean Ableton Link..as that's what I was thinkin'
Does it do thick buttery basses? speaking of which, when the hell is Dagger getting released?
It is the masked name of the app-which-name-we-longer-type-out-loud-as-it-takes-over-all-threads. It was probably typed as an answer to the topic. I agree.
No good at crossword puzzles... And, I'm a 'newish' user here... pm please?
Can't be s****x could it? Doesn't even seem closely related.
Never mind. Already lost interest in knowing his inner circle codes are.
lol
Yes, Abbleton Link !
All chatter to one side, didn't know of this one, but it was a good Saturday morning pick-up. Madness in Monzo-land, but lots of parameters without confusing my synthesis-n00bhead in. And yes, largely a single page and a fun little easy-arp also...already harvested a bunch of loops out to AUM. In a world of 'really? another synth?' the answer hereabouts is 'yes'.
You are welcome.
Wise man.
As for those of you wanting "LINK".
I know what you meant.
I for the life of me have no idea why it is remotely that important for a synth to have it?
If one can manage to type in the BPM and use a sequencing agent or app with LINK why would a synth having LINK be a deal breaker?
So funny that something that never existed till a minute ago now is the "necessary requirement" for an app or synth to be worthy?
Funny to say the least. Good luck with that.
Anybody have his LM-1 app? Curious if the sounds are spot on or not,
Easy syncing of an LFO. Think Soundprism Link addition.
To be honest, the not-so-great reviews on all the drum machines have scared me away from the synth.
Should I reconsider?
LM-1 is OK, nothing to get too excited about. Things I like about it are
Don't like:
I never had or used a real Linn drum machine, so I can't say how good the sound is. But I've used it on some stuff and like having it around. Pretty cheap if you buy it in one of his bundles.
As for the synth, gotta get back into that one. The first attempt I only got some weird squawks and stuff out of it before I got distracted by other stuff. So many apps, so little time.
minus on the drum
plus on the synth
Thought I was taking one for the team, but I will def. use this.
Hi everybody, I'm the app developer! Thanks for your appreciation, and also feel free to ask or request any feature you'd like to have.
About Ableton Link, I've already added it to EGDR808 and EGDR909 (808 & 909 drum machine, as names suggest) and I'm gonna add to EGLM1 as soon as I can, but honestly I don't see any big plus in adding it to a synth that is manually controlled.
@johnfromberkeley mostly of my apps bad reviews are for their earlier version or because people hate banners into my free/demo version of the app. I've received good feedback about the latest updates as you can read in some threads in this forum (https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/12034/egdr808-drum-machine-free-updated-with-link-support/p2)
@RustiK & @JohnnyGoodyear glad that you like the synth
Good to see you here Andy. Your synth definitely has its own personality and that's a big plus.
@Andy
Nice to have you here. I use your drum apps a lot. I like having the sequencer and song mode available for sketching out ideas.
One thing that would be nice in the drum apps would be the ability to control knobs and trigger patterns via MIDI. I usually like to sequence everything in one place like Modstep or Auria Pro. Your apps work well that way. But it would be great to be able to control the faders and knobs there, or from an external controller.
Cool. I will definitely check it out. And, I know that you are a beloved dev., so hope I did not rub you the wrong way... I just don't really need another drum machine now, let alone 3, so I am hesitating on the bundle. But I think I will end up with the synth for sure!

I don't know how much work is required to add link to a synth but I feel that every synth with an arp should be linked, otherwise we're stuck in the IAA sync which isn't splendid.
I think he's right. I was playing with the arp earlier and it's simple, but that's what I like about it. Would like Link.
