I bet it was no more than 10!
Nice, btw!
Much less than 10.
Much less? I can't imagine less than eight.
I'll say 4.
Cool. Needs a solo voice to take it somewhere else ....... Still cool
Very laid back - I thought you'd be soloing wildly over the top!
Yeah, not had time to settle on the best melody for it. Very easy when noodling to end up on the wrong note with all the modulations that are going on.
As for the chord types...
Maj7(9)
...that's it. Just the one. Lol.
can apps like drumloops hd ......be synced to sessionband and sessionband piano with audiobus...I have .....n-track...bm2...auria...and garageband just to name a few
If you can set the BPM to the same value, you should be able to align the tracks in the DAW.
@PaulB One chord? thats just sick. Well as they say less is more.
I think he meant just the one chord type, but different roots, so more than one chord.
Thanks, I understood him just forgot to add type. Btw which Beatles song was written with all sus chords.
.
No idea on that one @mgmg4871.
Mother Nature's Son has a few sus2 chords...
I have all 3 volumes of Sessionband Jazz. Here are the things I think need to be addressed:
1. No Maj or Min 6, No Slash Chords, Very limited Dom 7 Alterations.
2. The comping and Bass lines used are actually very basic and uninspiring.
3. Sax and Teumpet soloist feature doesn't work well for chords of 1 or 2 beats.
4. The most glaring omission is you cannot save your song in a master Sessionband 2 directory, it must be saved in the volume crecrated and only used for that volume.
5. Intro and endings: there isn't any defining style and the tune either just stops or keeps looping endlessly.
6. In comparison to iReal Pro, it's nice to have real instruments in Sessionband, if there was some way to combine the features of both apps, it would be great. What's really needed is an app version of PG music Band in a Box, an amazing program for creating progressions with amazing "Real Tracks".
I got the first volume. I’ve used the app for trying out progressions and jamming to them. The solos are useful as examples for students. I see little else to use it for. If I remember, the solos are two-bar phrases, and I think the app would have to take up a lot more memory for it to accommodate shorter ones as well. I guess the rhythm section parts are nice and generic to be flexible. It’s worth the few bucks it costs. Price is likely the reason many iOS apps are not everything they could be.
Fair.
They are good for isolating, sampling, looping, and chopping.
