  • Anyone still use this amazing, beautiful, eminently playable app? I recently made a set of 30 presets plus 10 sessions which I'm pretty proud of and decided I should share them with you guys for free in the hope that it will inspire you to perhaps rediscover its charms. Yuri Turov's @YuriT Shoom is amazing for drones and weird noises but I really tried to make these as musical and melodic as possible. It still works beautifully as an IAA app, but I do dream of it getting the AUv3 treatment one day. Hope you enjoy!

I even made a video of me demonstrating them...25 glorious minutes of noodly bits! (Sorry, I got carried away...but too lazy/time-constrained to edit and label them this time.)

    Unreasonably long preset demo:

Heck ya! Shoot’s awesome! I don’t even mind that it’s IAA (I don’t really mind any IAA apps anymore) I just fire it up, and then load it into Loopy Pro and start recording.

    Edit: “Shoom’s awesome” not “Shoot’s”

Edit #2: Thank you for sharing your presets @oddSTAR!

Thanks a lot, great sessions and preset. Shoom is a true wonder of an app and I would be so happy to see it as an AU

  • @HotStrange My pleasure! I had fun creating them and hope you enjoy them when you get a chance to play.

@sevenape I agree, Shoom is certainly worthy of a top spot in the dock. Thanks so much!

@Edward_Alexander You’re welcome! IAA doesn’t bother me either, I just want it to be future-proof.

@cuscolima So glad you like the presets and sessions and hope you’ll find them useful!

    How weird.

Were going to ask. What 16 paramaters a person might map ( before reading your comment )

    Obviously you can map more.

    Yeh just sorting AUM templates.

Now shoom. Which havent really used.

I made a Dual Mononke a while back.

    Its mapped across 4 pages.

  • Awesome, thanks for sharing these @oddSTAR
