And I have just a question : yesterday I used for the first time MODSTEP with AUM, with my apps loaded in AUM : is it possible to trigger the play in MODSTEP when pressing play in AUM ?

    you have 2 options.

If you load ModStep as IAA inside AUM then playback will start and stop automatically with AUM as it will use IAA host sync.

If you do not load Modstep in AUM and use Link to sync them instead then you can midi learn play in both apps to the same external control.

  • Wanted to say thanks here too, @Nerk_
For my purposes an app-dream come true, something I've been wanting since 2010, iPad 1,

  • Thanks you @Littlewoodg ! Much appreciated :)

    Yep. I'll second that.

Very, very impressive app. Thank you.

(All I'd ask for is an easier way to quickly stop/start clips in other tracks while you are deep inside one track's sequencer page doing your thang on the X-Y pads).

  • Well I think I figured out a workflow to use the iPad standalone
Figure out chord progressions in navichord, controlling any other iPad synth
Sample said chords directly into iMPC pro
Get drums either from the impc sample library or sampled and chopped from from ielectribe or other apps
Now I will start looking more into modstep, but for now I have been trying out fugue machine for bells or melodies.
I am still looking at getting a beatstep pro to do leads and melodies and control my apps in general. Still a work in progress.
