  • Sounds great, we can all go back to barter, while nuclear subs sans missiles defend us all.

    I'm with you.

Sounds a good title for an album GRRRRRRR :)

Seriously now, Trump is just the bogeyman. Even his own party hate him. He thinks he'll win, but more women than men vote in US elections, and few women want to see 'The Donald' as President. So, Hillary it is, and then we'll see what a godawful mess she makes.

Pretty sure you meant to say more reasonable people than bigots vote in US elections... ;)

It's gonna sound lame but what about voting the Tori scumbag the fuck out of the driving seat? Since anarchy isn't really an option might just as well go with something that's got social at heart.

Sounds great. Unfortunately, nobody will trust the Lib-Dems for a couple of decades, UKIP are a one man band, and Corbyn had his minions look the other way when the Tories pushed through thier Snooper's Charter. Nice. :s

Still I'd rather go Cobryn than any other since the guy has got a good service history. I am more inclined to trust someone who's underclaimed his personal expenses rather than the rest of the pack.

I'd be all for pulling all the money out of banks but I don't think the population is ready for that yet where I am there's 1 to 1 employment rate. Other than massive increase in homelessness people seem to go about their lives as if nothing is happening despite being robbed in broad daylight.

  • As we know our PM doesn't like fantastically corrupt governments, he prefers, just legal, but morally corrupt government supported territories, until this really gets corrected on a worldwide scale, it will be the same old, same old.

  • Ironic, the counter culture 60's crowd is now running various governments like mini dictatorships where free expression and opportunities are stifled at every turn. Meanwhile, people suffer under endless bureaucracy and tyranny against the masses while others are given royal treatments.

    exactly.

  • Funny too, how so much anger is directed at Trump,

It is the "correct" thing to do to get "social" rewards.

Actually expressing any strong emotions in music is generally more productive towards positive outcomes than not expressing them :)

I'm fairly certain I've seen more than one hard wo/man of rock'n'roll mainlining cookies and rebel yelling backstage/in hotel rooms. Whether I was or was not one of them, I have no comment at this time. ;)

I reckon that each groupie attracted to skill regardless of instrument is worth hundreds of most guitar groupies. I mean, I don't know about you but an instrument filter keeping my groupie spam down suits me just fine. :D

Lol sure my wife would probably keep the groupies at bay anyway :p or just my old age and thining hair lol

Do they still have A&R peeps looking for bands these days? Maybe I should join the dark side B)

Omg wife-bouncers are scary as hell. I've been piled on by a few, even the ones who knew quite well I was in the damn band. Not good for band member relations. Lots of (insert preferred compensation here) was needed to make up for those kinds of, um, incidents.

I've never been the contact band member for A&R so I dunno, and anyhow I haven't gigged in years (chronic illness thingy) and thus, my iOS audio experiments hath brung me here, and lo there was much rejoicing.. :)

  • @decibelle

Yep pretty much me too. Could just imagine being on stage and having a Cluster Headache attack - people would think I was trying to take off Ian Curtis dance moves :p

  • about crushing old structures and governments, with art and other non-violent means, there is an interesting documentary as app purchase. A bit off topic.

@supadom. Each to our own, but I find that kind of thinking just doesn't see the bigger picture. Corbyn allowed the Tories to enact their fascistic Snooper's Charter, and would happily throw open our borders to all and sundry. No way is he the answer, he's just another part of the problem. :'(

The bigger picture is this is not just a UK phenomenon, such requires a solution that transcends borders, cultures etc. to describe migrants as sundry, well devalues the whole of humanity, are we not all migrants?

  • Not so much a protest song but a commentary on the political establishment.

    >

As far as I am concerned anyone wishing to live in the UK should go through official channels, and if accepted be welcome. Where this is not possible - such as genuine refugees - then of course we as a country should offer what help we can. But where I differ from you, it would seem, is that I am not happy for wave upon wave of economic migrants arriving in the UK uncontrolled. Immigration without end or limits is something that no country on Earth can possibly sustain.

Yes, no one country can help the situation alone, that's why I said transcends borders etc.

Using any of the existing sociopolitical models feels and probably is a patch job. The bigger picture is: do we try moderate solutions that suit the UK in a wider context (I'm not talking about the US - UK 'special' relationship) and try to rebalance the ship or do we let extremism and isolationism prevail and face a then inevitable major change (European or Global spring?).

If we talking patching then I'm all for sustaining and reforming the EU as it is one strong barier to counter the multinationals. Even if none of the major systems are free from their (multinationals ') influence.

  • I suddenly feel like going on politics forum and discussing synth apps.

  • We are in the midst of the global rise of Corporate Tyranny...
