I am not aware of an issue in VocaLive with that specific device. Have you opened a support ticket at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/ios-apps/ ? I'm sure they can give a status if you have a ticket open or assist you with your issue if you open one.

I then asked them for a timetable for when to expect the patch and I received this reply:

We are applying this patch to our other apps, which is to be followed soon by VocaLive. We do not have a estimated time for release.

I noticed while it is possible to use an external mic with the mic emulations, the input gain slider is inactive and the output rather low. Is this a bug? I can use the input gain with iPad's internal mic, but it is grayed out and set to low when I connect an external mic.
Please report that to IK Support, I'm not sure if that would be intentional when a mic that cannot be identified is connected but they can look into whether it is or whether that may need to be addressed.
Boy that Looper interface looks familiar...
