Recently? I saw that he mentioned it in a reply there a good little while ago. Can't come soon enough!!
freakin sweet!
Oh my god YES.
Haha, glad my video is still on top of Samplr's page.
That was March though...
We are the 'Fans'; We won the battles for you.
my question is what else is in the update?
Might buy this then. Was thinking samplr had been abandoned.
Looking forward to that!!! Any info on other improvements/fixes?
Even if it seems abandoned, there's many on this forum who will agree it can still be an essential part of your 'workflow,' it's probably my #2 most-open app.
Samplr is essential.
I should have also clarified that despite not being updated since 2014 (if memory serves), it works in AB/IAA, the only work-with-other-apps component thats missing is Link but that's still fairly new.
And it works perfectly well with Link To MIDI or MIDI Link Sync (which I find to function better than the alternative). The only difference that Link will provide is eliminating the setup time (load sync app, adjust delay offset, activate clock source in Samplr).
Important update for professional level/live usage, but not essential for general use.
It still misses IAA sync, which I'd find just as useful as Link, once it's loaded up in AUM.
ok but @ion677 should still give him or herself The Gift of Samplr.
it's missing panning too, but it's on the way!
It is the only few apps I feel like I have an actual physical connection like an instrument when I play it.
I would like to see IPHONE version with MIDI /BLUETOOTH/WIFI options on SAMPLR!
A true gem! Don't wait to experience the fun...

@ion677 have fun. I was about to make a video demo to try and help convince you to buy it. You will not regret your decision.
Can you please still make that video? I was blown away by @supadom 's video, I find there are things the very capable people here do and I learn something new every time! I'd love to see it.
It's a desert island app for me. Top 3.
Here ya go. Not my best video. Hopefully with my new setup I can put out more, a lot easier.
Some of the 'things' in Samplr that have always annoyed me is the lack of trimming the recorded sample and pre-defined length for the sample and event recording.(Set number of bars/beats to record).
Maybe with Link support the sample-recording could be synced so it starts on the downbeat and records for a set number of bars/beats?
I do like the tactile feel of 'playing the samples' using Samplr
Not sure whether it has IAA or other kind of sync but to my ear is pretty damn tight.
@ion677 save up on kinder eggs and get it. It might not change your musical life but who knows? At least you'd be supporting a genius.
Easily in my top 4 apps yet, I could replace Loopy, Gadget and Turnado with lesser substitutes but Samplr is pretty irreplaceable.
^ It has MIDI clock sync, which is tight yet doesn't always function well due to iOS' poor midi handling. IAA sync would be tight and respond to host transport.
MIDI Link Sync solves all!
Great app but doesn't solve the problem I'm having syncing Samplr to Auria's clock out. I'm assuming this is an Auria issue. IAA sync would hopefully fix it.
Ah yeah, I'll rephrase then:
MIDI Link Sync solves all Samplr sync issues concerning Link
It does respond to Loopy's start and stop commands.
Hh ha, thanks Kaikoo the 2nd!
