    In fact, this is the fourth of my five last that have this Nordestino flavor, @LostBoy85, so I was a little afraid that you would find this one a litle repetitive in the context of my own work. Instead, and I am very glad because of it, you and most of reviewers praised how creative and different was this piece (one reviewer used "weird playing" as a compliment!), so I must say this is very reinvigorating and reassuring. Thank you very much indeed!

    @LostBoy85 One hell of a rediscovery Leo! Makes me wonder what other gems you have filed away in your "hits" warehouse.

    Achingly beautiful in all aspects. Like silk wrapped in silk. Pillows of melancholy to drift away into reflective dreams. Stunning vocals, harmonies & delivery sit proudly above what sounds like a studio full of professional stringsters! Very good indeed. So much need & want in the way you've played them.......made them feel. Ah, Darcy Drumstick strikes again!
    No wonder.....she's a talent & very good.

    It's full of feeling....full of emotion. So much so that this is the first thing I listened to after waving the dogs cheerio for a week. You've turned me into a sobbing mess sir!

    Hey, @trackedout! This song reminds me of 90's shoegaze bands, and I was so into this kind of music when I was a teen, so I'm biased to like it. I must say the vocals could be a little higher indeed, but a buried voice with the usage of heavy effects in it was inherent to the style, so I'm cool with it. The guitar work is outstanding and the drums sound like real (were they?). Congrats and keep it up!

    It's melodically minimal,but it's obvious that the star of the show is the beat...and your perfectly manicured fingernails! How often do you get those done? Haha!

    Good stuff man! Oh and thanks for your feedback.The cello I think you were referring to is from thumbjam.Its nice and rich and by far the best cello sample on iOS,isymphonic is a close second and great for all the other strings.

    Yeah ! Nice acid/funky/techno !! Yes, the track is working without understanding the words ! Truth, at the begining, the voice maybe need some reverb, just to blend it with the groove of the instrumentals (from 55sec to 1m more or less)

    Thanks ! Yeah, i know, my fingernails... but, sometimes i let it grows, it's sound so nice to scratch acoustic guitars's string with it !!

    I am loving this! Can't get enough of that driving bass and drum groove. And the 'guitar' bits are the icing on the cake. Vocals will only add to the goodness here. But I could also see this remaining an instrumental - maybe the track builds and you add keep adding more guitar frenzy/feedback or noise as it builds? I really really like it as it is too though. This track has inspired me to break out my guitar and make a track with a similar feel - so thanks for that.

    I enjoyed listening to this - reminded me of when I first started listening to electronic music. Feels like something from the late 90's to my ears. And the vocals work as is, without understanding the words. They feel like they belong in the track.

    I was worried when you said 'poppy' and after hearing the first couple of bars wasn't sure I was gonna enjoy it much - but then I had it on in the background while working and it caught my ear. Some pleasant pop - the vocal line has a comforting feel. I liked it well enough I pressed play again after 1st listen. Good job.

    here's my entry for June. Put together in Garageband - intro synth was a loop I found somewhere, internal GB bass, a Drummer track ... then a couple of teaser GeoShred licks before a tinkly electric piano riff kicks in. And then I had a friend do some lead guitar over top of the track - so real guitar lines from 1:40 to 2:36 and then I came in with some Geoshred licks from 2:36 onwards... I love GeoShred and always though it sounded close enough to the real thing - but doing this project and listening to real guitar vs. GeoShred side by side highlighted how much better the real thing is.

    Yes, you're certainly right about the sound of hands on real strings....really like the energy/feel/vibe of this piece....like the pace particularly, sometimes late at night you drive at 60 not 90.....if I have a grumble it would be with the ending, harshed my mellow as I never ever said back when people did. Bit too squealychalkboard for me (technical term). But, good groove.....might like a little more variation/addition with the drums?

    P.S.: I forgot to mention it, but the MIDI data for the synth break (except for the meows, which I recorded live with FF Twin 2) was made in Medly, a really unpretentious and somewhat underrated app that I love nonetheless.

    Thanks! I probably could've shortened it but I really just wanted to get this out there quickly...unlike the other hundred songs I keep eternally locked in my closet. It was an exercise in speed production for me...very therapeutic.

    Interestingly, I get that other comment pretty frequently. I really need to work on reducing complexity! Not sure how to tell when enough is enough, I guess...
