Assignable FX per track are coming too. Most likely in update 1.2.

    Best, Pascal

    Thanks Pascal!

would be great to have fx other than bit crusher, distortion, delay, and reverb

I'd rather see no fx but individual outputs. Like a hardware drum machine. Then you light up each drum the way you want.

    +1

Should be standard on drum machines IMNSHO.

Hardware with natural convolution reverberation output, no fx attached.

  • Great app, enjoying it muchly but....is it just me or is the output particularly hot ? Even with the master out way down its pushing Aum's channel into the red.

A new update v 1.0.4 is out now

Seems to be a problem updating on my iPad Pro. It's stuck with an install icon on my home screen and shows up as installed in the App Store. Can't delete it to reinstall either! Anyone know a solution?

Perhaps @Pascal@Audionomy could offer some guidance?

  • Okay.....searched for DM2 in my purchases and found it still has an "update" button (unlike on the updates page). Pressed update and......well.....it deleted the app from my iPad. So long, all the kits and patterns I've made. What on earth is going on?

@Kaikoo2 Hi. Can you point me how to make DM2 notes playing (sync works)? I'm tried all but still no sound.

    • Ipad 4, latest iOS
    • one track project in modstep with loaded IAA DM2 (updated 18.12.) - step sequencer view
    • DM2 factory template loaded (with my own binding - no sound too)
    • IO midi out DM2 channel 1 (have tried steppolyarp ch 1 - no sound)
    • settings: midi destinations DM2 cc, notes, midi clock, midi sources, network disabled
    • DM2 midi settings - DM2 receives midi from - Modstep notes and tempo channel 1

    Thanks in advance!

    Developer @pascal , @audionomy,

This is your current notes arrangment: (what a mess!)

    C1 -1 kick
    D1 -2 snare
    F#1 -3 hhclosed
    A#1 -4 hhopen
    D#1 -5 clap
    C#1 -6 rimshot
    G#2 -7 cowbell
    G1 -8 tom
    C#2 -9 cymbal

Could you please change the midi notes for keying in. Why you can not arrange 8 instruments midi notes to normal alphabetical order?

In Modstep, the drum pad can not access that G#2 cowbell. If I change the base note from C1 to C2, part of sound on C1 base note can not pass through the midi sequencer of Modstep.

I don't understand the logic why you arrange the midi notes in this way. That means I can only directly play 7 instruments on C1 base note.

The photo shows C1 base note (the round circle)

    Welcome. You're among friends...

  • I'm hoping somebody comes in and says, Oh, you just drag the DM2 template to the WHATEVER and it just works now!

  • I started with my own note bindings without success, then the same with template.
