In Sunny Cyprus, the Cypriot people will say, " I'll be there in a couple of hours time"........ Which means tomorrow......... If a Cypriot says, "I'll be there tomorrow"...... It means in a weeks time. If a Cypriot says, " I'll be there next week" ..... It means in a Months time. If a Cypriot tells you, " I'll be there in a Months time, I'm a bit busy"........ Forget it! It won't never happen(a years time if your lucky?..... Not!)..... This is what we English people call GMT....... Not Greenwich Mean Time, but more like...... Greek Maybe Time!....... When you live here, in Cyprus you get to learn patience & perseverance, & understanding ........ So when it does come out, it's a great feeling.......... I'm still waiting Devs?....... Lol
Seems to be abandoned. Also, Lemur hasn't seen an update in 2 years and their Facebook has gone silent last December
The devs might have skrammed.
And their Liine logo on Facebook is white, wearing sunglasses and suspended in orange clouds... Like a sunset. Guessing they've sunsetted the company.
Lemur wouldn't load one of my projects correctly on iPad Pro 10.5. Like the formatting was screwed up and couldn't get to the menu to switch projects. Reinstalled Lemur but won't do anything but display the logo off-center. One of the recent reviews says it's not working with iPad pros.
Skram still works though.
if they folded, they need to sell that tech to somebody else that can implement it into something amazing
Their twitter feed has replies back in May of this year. They claim development is still going on... But nothing since May 18th. Fingers crossed.
I don't care about Skram but I'd really hate to see Lemur vanish. Such a cool app
seems to work fine with the 12.9 though. might be a 10.5 glitch?

I wish people would stop resurrecting these old threads, when a year ago most people accepted that Liine failed with their development of Skram (no matter what they say on FB or Twitter).

The two of us were talking about Lemur. It's not a cheap app and it's still selling for $25. It's also a unique and very useful app that was well implemented. Some of us are interested in whether it's still being maintained. There are many who use Lemur to control all sorts of devices and it's a popular DJ controller too. So, many of us are hoping they haven't closed up shop altogether.
The 10.5 is a brand new machine. It's got a different screen size. There are likely some devs out there who haven't got around to fixing their apps to accommodate the new architecture, and some of them will likely not bother. That's what you get when you buy the latest tech.
Regarding Skram, I think they delivered pretty much what they said they'd deliver. And, it still works just fine. And, it's still a fun app to mess around with. Nobody is harping on Skram.
There are what appear to be "Pro" DJs contacting Liine as about Lemur not working correctly as recent as May. They claim they are on it. We'll see. My guess is that they're moving on as a company, but they have enough of a Lemur install base to warrant maintenance and they're still maintaining their site, including the Lemur template exchanges and user forum. Since they're still selling Lemur at $25, I'd guess they'll at least give it a minimal refresh so that it works with the latest machines, etc.
i forgot about skram a long time ago, but use lemur a lot, and would hate to see it go.
Great little app for creative jam sessions in which I am finding sound pallets that work or am just wild'n out for some electronic music early morning sessions.
I was on their community forum instead of their support forum. It appears they're aware of the iPad Pro 10.5 problem, and they have replied they're working on it with an update coming very soon. This was just August 11th, so that's great news.
I had exactly this issue initially with my new 10.5 Pro (off centre logo, not being able to access menu, etc.) but it works great now on latest iOS 11 Beta, so hopefully it's resolved in the new OS.

but I'm gradually progressing to the point where I understand a lot more, and it'll be fun to dive back in and make my own stuff, instead of just mostly playing with other user's templates.

Hey, in case you haven't noticed or haven't updated to iOS11 yet... I never got the Lemur bug fix update that they said was coming in August. However, I noticed after updating to iOS11 and now iOS11.01 Lemur works fine again. None of the aforementioned issues at all. Weird. Guess they were before their time.
All good now though.

Yes! Been playing with it for the last couple of days. And, I don’t know how I missed it before, but that free premium content SQU4R-3 template is pretty cool. Looks like it’s been around since 2015.
Was a welcome surprise to see the Lemur update, I feared it was going to be abandoned
I don't mind if a €2.99 app stops getting updates but I think this was more like €50 when I got it!
