The Lost Chord played a role in Ergo Phizmiz' THE DIMBOLA MIKADO in the "Looking for the Lost Chord" section:

One can also play with the online tone spiral: https://jhhl.net/tonespiral.html , with a UI similar to Droneo's Tone Spiral.
Fan here!

Good you guys revived this thread. Gonna read the article @jhhl
Btw, since we are expressing love to your works... Minute
Oooh I love it and still use it. Sometimes I setup my sampling stuff (Zoom ST-224 + Roland SP-404sx + Boss Micro BR), record apps and field noises into them, replay them into Minute... experiment and record back to the rig.
oh yeah... i keep finding interesting audio files in my old audioshare folders and a good number of them are from Minute.. a fine thing..
Oh yeah, Minute! I always wanted to swap out the stretching routine, which was basically the same as one I made up for a program (we called them "programs" back then) on the Amiga called RAW.
Here's a video of RAW in the Amiga Emulator: https://jhhl.net/Video/RAW-popeye.mov
A super big roadblock for all this is coming up with an all-encompassing AU/standalone framework. It's an immense mess. All I want is a buffer in and I'll make a buffer out, some unified connection to all the timing sources (Ableton, Midi Clocks, hand taps, whatever), and a model that talks to MIDI, MIDI 2 (MPE), OSC.
Grouse, Grouse, Grouse.
This is awesome!
