Does anyone know how to delete Beatmaker's default samples and shrink the overall package size?

  • I remember leaving a user request for this a few months ago, as it would be a sane thing to do to make all this unwanted stuff an optional package. Frustrating that they do not care at all. BM2 has several essential features, which other apps sadly omit.
It should not be a big problem to implement smaller binary and given how many users BM2 has, justified use of their time.
(And there is not much use in purchasing devices with bigger space since product cycle is so short.)

  • And how do you delete your own recorded files when the takes are already erased from a project? I use the "Drm Machine" method - Using the Load Sample function to get access to the My Contents/Recordins folder and deleting files from there. Is there another way I'm missing?

  • @Fribeiro

    1. Tap Home
    2. Tap the File Transfer button (looks like a little iPhone and a Mac/computer)
    3. Tap Dropbox (this is essentially the file management tool in BM2)
    4. On the left side should be "My Content" (local iPad content). Find the sample(s) you wish to remove and tap the red "minus" circle to delete

Oops, thank you! Much easier. :) I was using iTunes up till now to transfer audio files to my desktop DAW, so I haven't even noticed that this kind of file management could be done from this page.
