    Of course! That's what it does best! When you select a drum, the length of the radius you draw indicates the velocity.

    No, I know that i can do this, what I want is to get little variations in that velocity when the loop repeats. Something like the probability for whether a note plays or not, but as a range for the velocity to be 'varied' by, or by rotating just the velocity part (I could do this with a regular patter (4 to the floor type thing) but it won't work for irregular patterns)

    I see, I see. THAT would be a cool trick. So in this example, the beat remains constant but the velocity rotates? You could certainly create that effect manually, but having several pattern variations....

    I agree completely. But it seems he has worked SO hard to fight back against the image of precocious dilletante of the "Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" that I think he might endure. "A Hologram for the King" was pretty good. "The Circle" is supposed to be, too.

    Ah. So random velocity. Albeit slightly random. Not sure will check when I get the chance.

    I have asked the dev through the website today, hopefully they will see the benefit of this and add it. It would be a great feature to allow either the random playback or rotation individually on any of the LAYER parameters (VELOCITY/TUNE/PAN/ATTACK/FILTERS ETC...)
