One of my first and still a favorite now that I look back.
I've only got the demos of both Sunrizer and Dagger, I kinda love the 'noise' that creeps in in the unregistered version
Ha! I could say the same about Diva.
Shamed to say I've never used this/knew it was there etc. Thanks for the tip....
The morphing wheel is an awesome feature. Sunrizer is a joy to design sounds on, one of the top VA synths on iOS for sure. I'm loosing hope that Dagger will ever be released for iOS, the wait is too long
@Samu
Agreed, I take it for granted as its one app that has always been reliable, I'm going to scrap my limiter request and settle for a clipper with soft, hard and tape mode help round those spiky edges.
@JohnnyGoodyear
A random function is something I'd like to see on every synth, I especially love sunrizer's one, as it's so, erm, random.
I either forgot or didn't know about the randomize feature!! Gonna play later . I also think Sunrizer is a great ios synth. I don't use it as much as I should - it definetly has its own unique sound (which is very big and lush).
Can't wait for the au version - and Dagger too
Anyone for some Spam?
Reported.
I was having a lot of fun with it this morning, reminded me of the good olde days.
Unlike Spam,,, Some Sunrizer goes good with anything!
thanks everyone, gonna have to pick this up today, btw has the dev ever said anything about the volume issues mentioned here?
You will love Sunrizer and it works perfectly for sampling with the you know what app using IAA
Fuck all that noise
Very cool. For some reason I routinely forget how nice Sunrizer sounds... Though I'm reminded every time I (too rarely) fire it up.
does not work
its a bug
you can't just set the volume and re-save the patch?
You can
Just volume zero doesn't work
It's no showstopper.
Sunrizer Needs a new midi implementation (still takes any clock signal) and link,
Things have changed so much on this platform since iOS 4.2
Still one of my favorite Synths, but don't listen to me, I'm biased as can be, l was involved in the creation of it.
On the other hand I don't waste my time with stuff that doesn't sound good or that is boring.
Here's an older demo I did
All sounds are from sunrizer
bravo, I'm looking forward to it
Enjoy.
My workaround is to dial down master to about 50 to 60%
I like to have multiple synths layered with arps playing at the same time so it's useful for that (the arp in thumbjam in particular is pretty useful with link enabled, especially since it has both midi in and out).
@supadom
Sometimes even when I've turned it down things can still get a little squealy, I'm glad though that the volume doesn't change when using the random function.
@lala
Do you know of any secrets/easter eggs with the lovely sunrizer?
This is what I do, as well.
It supports non standard tuneings
Meaning A isn't 440 hz
Its also supports .tun & scl files for more non standard things
(Changing the base key doesn't work, however it's enough to get a foot and ear into non western scales and tunings with great and easy to program sounds of your choice that morph into whatever)
Tab on the button under the pitch wheel to check it out.
Microtonal fun for everybody
The opium demo is done that way, I'm just flipping through some exotic tunings like Japanese and Korean scales ...
Sounds cool, doesn't it?
Here are 4000 free (as in beer) scales

Enjoy!
@lala
I had mine set to 432hz but I did that through the utils menu, didn't know about the other way and importing your own .tun and .sci files I'm feeling very happy right now. And finishing your post off with a very handy link, magnifiqué, it's not often I express myself in french but today is special, thanks lala.
Thanks for confirming there was not a hidden trick I didnt know!
You are all welcome.
