  • Regarding being offered free design help, I understand your considerate reluctance to make some bucks off of their free work. However they could use the design as part of their portfolio or maybe they're using your app and really want to jazz it up! :)

I think you've explained your reasons and graphic limitations really candidly and at the end of the day they're great apps performing helpful solutions. That's the important part.

Still, I'm a sucker for a pretty face.

I'm picking up an iPhone SE next week to replace my old android, so that I can use music apps on the go. I've previously used Modstep on iPad for midi sequencing so I'm considering an iPhone friendly alternative. Remembered this thread and remembered being impressed by what I saw of Infinite looper in the past so thought I'd give Aleph a go. I notice that it's £3.99 now. @SecretBaseDesign is this intentional?

Yup -- I had it on sale after the last update, but it's back to the regular price. There's a bundle, so if you like it on the phone, you can upgrade to the full version for no additional cost (relative to the full price on Infinite).

Infinite is universal, Aleph iPhone only. I'm keeping Aleph at a lower price point, as sort of the gateway-app to Infinite.

I had tried running Aleph for free, but wound up getting troll 1-star reviews, because if it's free, that's what some folks seem to do. No good deed goes unpunished, I think.

Grrr. Yes, the odd business of having to pay a little something seems to keep a lot of the hooligans out of the paddock. Annoying in light of your intention.

Have just (finally) upgraded my old phone to a 6Splus etc and am amazed at the real estate and thus, for the first time really, expect to fiddle about while waiting outside changing rooms etc as men must (waiting and fiddling both). Looking forward to getting at IL particularly.
