+ the coming Infinite Looper CC automation = bliss
That looks like an interesting controller Matt, I'll have to check that out.
Yep. Found it reconditioned for £100.
I'll let you know how it works out.
I'm hoping it also works well with Model 15 which also sends its midi cc values out.
That'd be amazing. I'm after something similar so I'd be interested to hear how you get on.
That sounds wonderful.
Pictures? Video?? Please???
I have opened up Aleph Looper but I am unsure where to begin.
Ok. I'll try to do some kind of sound and light show.
In your debt.
Congrats on the B2K @Matt_Fletcher_2000 , it is a great controller, I owned several of them and found them the best deal and most sophisticated.
In case you don't know, or to anyone's benefit, there is a fantastic editor by Mark van der Berg ......http://mountainutilities.eu/news
It lets you do group edits, where one edit edits whole group of controllers in one click.
And more....
Getting there...
First row set up for Animoog, second row for Animoog for iPhone (also running on iPad), third row for Model 15.
Top row of encoders set for amp and filter envelopes of all 3 (switching between encoder groups).
The last encoder group at the top and the buttons I think I'm going to map to Ruismaker/Ruismaker FM.
Nice!
I have the BCF with motorised faders, I have had it for years and it still works perfectly, I haven't used it since using iOS, I am however now looking forward to hooking it up to Auria Pro.
Thanks @Audiojunkie
@AndyPlankton - i've been finding it's a pleasure to use...
Next thing to try is Model 15...
OK, so here's a (poor audio quality - sorry) quick vid of the set-up in action so far:
Animoog, Animoog for iPhone and Model 15 all sequenced by Infinite Looper App run in AUM with AUFX Space reverb.
Behringer BCR mapped to various Moog app parameters.
Once I get a bit more sorted then i'll do something with the audio track mixed into the video properly. And, you know, being able to see whats going on and that sort of thing...
Edit: @ExAsperis99 @MonzoPro - you asked for pictures
@MoogMusicInc @GeertBevin - any plans to have Model 15 and Animoog for iPhone also 'send all midi ccs' on program change? It works an absolute treat with Animoog - would be really nice to have it for the other 2 (pretty please)...
Model 15 is the same on iPad and iPhone, we're currently working on Animoog for iPhone, but have no ETA on when we'll be ready with an update.
Hi, and thank you very much for such a quick response.
I'm aware Model 15 is universal. But I was wondering if you had plans to have it 'send all midi ccs' on program change?
Seconded. I have far less ambitious Lemur and TB Midi Stuff templates I'm working on for Model 15 and it would be very nice to have this feature working. It works great with Animoog.
Sorry, guess we are already with our minds on the next release. The answer is yes and it's currently being beta tested together with other new features and improvements.
Whoop whoop. Thanks. Can't wait.
Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL news!!!
Btw: Google for the zaquencer
Nice!!
Thanks for sharing this Matt, I've been tempted by this controller before and now I'm tempted further.
Ohhhh fook... I'm going to have to buy another one now
I dream of a 'Preset Player AU-X' for both Animoog and Model 15
You're very welcome. I love it so far. I think it's because of
Very good Matt, I like the bass sequence running through holding it all together. Looks like a really nice setup, and I'm also envious of the amount of space you have on your desk.
The controller element looks very solid, and...erm...controllable. When I do this type of stuff on the iPad it all feels a bit remote somehow, like I'm not really in control of what's happening. There's a definite analogue hands-on hardware feel to your vid that I like. Unfortunately it looks like we're spending money on a new house so controllers are going to slip down the list of priorities if it pans out.
I'm having problems with Model 15 in Aum, particularly when driven by Fugue...maybe I need to check out Infinite Looper...looks like it could be a thing...
Thanks @MonzoPro
The bass is just the factory 'fat pulse bass' preset running on Animoog for iPhone (running on the iPad). I love that patch.
I'm lucky enough to have an office for work now. And for occasional music making. Including 2 nice big desks. It's great for some peace and quiet away from the house too .
The analog thing you mention is spot on. It's lovely feeling you can control most parameters at your finger tips. Makes messing with sound a lot more immediate (and you also tend to listen, rather than looking at a screen).
The Moog apps just sound amazing though. Mostly that's the clincher.
Model 15 doesn't allow multi-touch either, so actually hooking up a controller (controller app or hardware) is the only way to twist two Model 15 knobs at the same time (I believe).
Will try to make a better vid when I have time.
