Looks like Cubasis is on sale at 50% off. Could be an indication of something boiling ?
I might actually bite at this, even though I just "invested" $20 to upgrade to Auria Pro. Auria is a nice product, it's just never really meshed with me. And when I discovered it didn't even support AU yet, that really surprised me. Cubasis looks like it would be great for multi-track guitar recording as well as electronic music with all the MIDI functionality. More than anything, I just like the interface. Still a fan of MultiTrackStudio, so it may end up being a showdown between those two. Is it a waste to have purchased all 3 only to ultimately use one? Maybe. But another way of looking at it is that I'm investing about a $100 total to land on a DAW I'm most happy with, which seems reasonable compared to desktop.
Hmm, isn't that a strange thing to do just before launch of 2.0? I mean if 2.0 shows up with all the extra funtionality they could charge full price easily. On the other hand, the userbase would grow faster with a lower price.
Actually I get the feeling that the Undo button shuts down and restarts the audio engine...seems jerky
Gets the job done well for me though.
I have also always found it an odd wrinkle. Presuming there's some plus to it for the dev, but just can't see it...
I'm going to miss these gifs now that C 2.0 is here!
