I must admit I like the look of MultiTrack DAW a bit better as an option. Might be kinda shallow but to me it matters when looking at it so much. As long as its functionality is decent. Think I'll give it a go.

Being spoilt for choice is a blessing and a curse. I don't think you can go wrong. It's more of a matter of most right for you. I hope MTD does it for you.

Thanks! So far it's going pretty well. And like to straight forwardness.
Patterning loaded right up but for some reason I can't get moog model 15 to load as an input ?

I dunno if flm3 is going to be a free upgrade, but yes, you can run the beta as a PC plug-in on FL Studio Producer and up.

    Apologies for the semi-threadjack.

    It's going to be free.

What I respect about Image Line (FL Studio) DAWs. Is that all PC's & all there mobile apps, is that once you pay for there software, you only pay once. All upgrade/ updates are free for life. Only Plug ins you pay extra. Where other Large software companies want money for updates, but do not charge for "Maintaince" updates.

  • OT question but can anyone kindly suggest why moog model 15 will not load into MTD,
when other apps (patterning , ehx etc) load no problem ?

Could moog model 15 need some kind of un wrapper ?…app to allow it to be input into MTD ?

    Appreciate any take!

I don't own it, but how are you trying to load it? Audiobus? Inter-App Audio?

EDIT: Did some searching for you and found this. Apparently, it can work. Whether it works well enough for you is TBD.

The easiest thing to do is just to load Model 15 into the input slot of AudioBus, with MTD in the output slot. The track is created and armed automatically, and you have the advantage of AudioBus's easy app switching and transport buttons. In fact, that's the easiest way for any instrument IMO.

I think I may be it's only fan on here but I still think Xewton Music Studio is pretty hard to beat for simplicity while still being powerful enough to get stuff done it's even usable on small phone screens.

And there's a free version to try out:

Technically, you shouldn't _need _it. It just works the best with this combination of apps (and many others, it's well worth having.)

You may have some luck getting some help here, but don't be afraid to bump a Model 15 thread or start a new one.

Cubasis LE can be downloaded and run in demo mode for free. If you happen to have one of the supported pieces of hardware that will unlock it then you can get more features, or pay for the full version (which occasionally goes on sale). List of supported hardware for free extended features (there are lots of brands listed) - http://www.steinberg.net/en/products/mobile_apps/cubasis_le/compatible_hardware.html

While this is correct, we've learned that the demo mode included in the current version is too limited to give users who are not equipped with a compatible hardware to unlock the LE feature set useful options to test drive the app.

Expect an improvement with the next Cubasis LE update release.

    Best,
    Lars

Yes, it's an essential if you make music on ios, if for nothing else then to support the two people who broke the landscape wide open. The days before audiobus were much less productive.
