Version 1.1 is now off to Apple's secret oompaloompa factory for review.

    Highlights:

    • Universal; rock Phasemaker on your iPhones and iPod Touches
    • Import and Export of zipped user patches via dropbox/iCloud/email/airdrop/etc.
    • Strong Operator type added for extra wild modulation strength
    • Device specific latency optimization for the standalone app

I expect it to go live any moment!

  • Nice! I just talked about your app in the DXi update thread!

  • Non iTunes user preset export - hell yeah! Happy man :)

  • @brambos Love the 'strong' Oprator type. Guess I prefer more 'farty' FM-Sounds :D

Did some say "farty"? Where's @jakoB_haQ?!!

  • Thanks so much for making this universal. AWESOME.

  • Lovely.

    I miss my TX-802's...

    This helps. :)

  • awesome looking forward to some cool patches

  • Thanks @brambos, having PhaseMaker on my iPhone is great! and I like the strong operator option.

Hopefully some people might be able to make use of these patches :)

Certain sounds are designed to be played in certain ways. For example Broken Keys makes a different sound when keys are released quickly than when held. Some of the sounds are distorted when played at very high velocity values by design. I've set up the sounds primarily for my use and so some tinkering my be required for play at certain volumes etc.

  • Fruitbat, thx for sharing!

    Good stuff therein.

  • @Fruitbat1919 Well done :)

@brambos I thought I lost all my patches until I realised they got 'merged' with the imported patches.
Don't know if 'folders' are a pain to implement but it would make housekeeping a bit smoother.

When importing a 'zip-file' full of patches it would be nice to optionally create/name a new folder.
For sharing add 'share bank/folder' if applicable.

It's like FM-Heaven with Ruismaker FM and Pahsemaker, love it!

  • Awesome thanks :)

Thanks for the code, Mr Bos!
The app is very elegantly designed.

  • @brambos Damn I've been so busy - I can't wait to update this and play :)

I've just installed the latest update on my iPhone 4s 9.3.5. Phasemaker does not show up as an AU or as IAA in AUM. If I start as standalone the app crashes to the iOS home screen , although it is still open in the background. I've deleted and reinstalled, no difference . Any ideas???
    Thanks

iOS supports AUv3 on iPhone 5S and higher (and iPad 4+, iPod Touch 6G+).

Strangely enough Apple allows incompatible devices to install these AU apps anyway. I would block it if I could, but all I can do is put a warning in the appstore text blurb.
