Second hand Korg Radias. Ive got the MS2k and now know what all the buttons do!
Mrs Monzo is fish mad - we have it about 5 times a week at the moment but curiously...no Haddock.
Curious, indeed !
I'd put it towards a matched pair of Mini K47 condenser mics from Roswell Pro Audio.

I would get a few modules for my modular.
What are you rocking now?
I was toying with the idea.
It seems a bit daunting at times to jump into the modular world.
Been toying with Modular seemingly forever. If I ever have a spare few grand I will probably dive in and then regret another addiction at my leisure
give me the $500 so i can feed my starving children, they're all mouth & never sated.
Gonna get the whole set!
+1
I was watching it, told myself interesting until I heard "It runs PureData patches" All the sounds& effects may work on iPad with Mobmuplat
Back to the topic I would buy some Volcas or a Minilogue...
Winter is coming...
I'd quite fancy something that can fire them at me.
Hmmm. Reminds me of the South Park Film
What's the secret password?
I could give them a biscuit..... but it would be on the end of a long stick
An EWI, wow...how cool is that? While I'm good at iOS, I'm still a novice on desktop software, but this seems like the best deal for VST orchestral type sounds and the quality seems pretty high. I'm still exploring though and am open to suggestions.
Either a Korg Minilogue or the Make Noise 0-Coast.
I'm with Mr K and Mr hall.
If I had $500 for piece of equipment I'd put it towards improving my ability to perform music, as that would, for me, reap far more rewards than more hardware at this juncture.
The 0-Coast or Pittsburgh SV-1 blackbox is next on my list, amazing little boxes.
I've got a modest MOTM system that needs to be fleshed out. I built it from kits many, many years ago. When I got into it there wasn't all the crazy eurorack stuff. Looks like fun, but I'll barely have the funds to finish my 5u system.
I would buy a Yamaha mx49 v 2 and save for an iPad because
1 ) Its got over 1000 sounds and the audio quality is comparable to a Motif
2) It plays really nicely w Yamaha Mobile Misic sequencer which some say is buggy and some say is superb
3) It has over 1000 arps which output over midi
4) It's completely IOS compatible and includes a built in audio interface (both midi and audio).
5) Comes w Cubase LTE
6) No, I don't work for Yamaha
If it was £500 not $500 would be strymon big sky for me.
That's a good one
Korg Minilogue for my money. I've had it in my cart for a couple of months.
I can justify it by claiming that it will replace the ensoniq that went down in a lightning strike a while back. Yeah, that's it.
Either an 1-2tb ssd or a second hand alphasphere nexus.
I'm honestly struggling to think of anything...
I am quite happy having all my noises made on the iPad with the sound quality of apps like Animoog and Model15 and Gadget.
And I have knobs covered now with by BCR.
I guess maybe a keyboard that has nice aftertouch. Not that I've researched it.
But what is there? The Roli (out of budget?). The CME one? That Keith bloke's one?
I'm very fickle about effects, but I've never regretted my Strymon pedals. They are wonderful.
ok, based on what already have ( Ipad Air 2 128 gigs, Apogee Duet for Mac/Ipad, Apogee jam 96k, Apogee Mic 96k, Ik Multimedia IRig keys and BlueBoard, Arturia Microbrute, Arturia Beatstep, Moog expression pedal and too many IOS apps to name ) I also have a MacBook Pro, guitars, Bass, M-Audio Axiom 61, etc, but Id spend it on something towards my Ipad studio and something portable, something small enough to transport, having said that it would be either , the Korg Minilogue, because unlike the microbrute , its a polyphonic analog synth, or Id get the Moog Minitaur , because though its a monophonic analog synth it has 2 oscillators and sounds soooooooooo fat, or Id get those new Ik Multimedia ILoud micro monitors because theyre so small and would be instep with keeping my set up portable. I'm also considering the regular Iloud speaker, again, very portable. Id have to hear the Iloud products in person though to really decide on them.
If I was going to buy something that wasnt for my Ipad set up, it would be either the Maschine MK2 or the Akai MPC Studio Black, basically too have a different workflow option from Logic Pro or my Ipad.
