what's your top 3 most used iPhone drum/percussion app??
I have some iTunes credits burning a whole in my virtual pocket. I want to be able to make some fun percussion rythms on my iPhone , so that I can load them into my Daw when I get home at the end of the day, and build out some songs. what are your top 3 percussion/drum apps for iPhone?
Comments
Soft Drummer
Rock Drum Machine
Funk Drummer
Luis Martinez's drum machines are superb and get you groove going while you take care of other instruments. Highly recommend them.
Elastic Drums is really good on the phone.
Thumbjam also translates well to this environment, though the drum sounds are a little limited.
Figure, also limited, but extremely valuable for subway or lunchtime creations.
DrumJam
Impaktor
ElasticDrums
DrumStudio
DrumJam
ElasticDrums
Patterning - pretty much all the time.
Very occasionally SeekBeats and Elastic Drums.
Elastic Drums, Seek Beats, iElectribe
Patterning is really great, but still waiting for the IPhone version.
Triqtraq! It's really easy to record automations and you can keep your drums perfectly in tune with any song if you want. Good samples, and you can load your own from Audioshare.
I suppose Ruismaker doesn't qualify for this topic?
In that case Elastic Drums, SeekBeats and Werkbench
Edited because i fail at reading the topic title
Is DD available for the IPhone ?
SeekBeats is universal?? Hell yes.
Gah, i didn't get the iPhone only part
Please ignore my dumb post
Sorry
Yup, and it works great
On the contrary, it made me hunt down SeekBeats! My commute just got a little bit funkier.
It's a great app for sure!
yeah, I didn't realize seek beats was on iPhone.
Ultimately I wish Patterning would be available on the iPhone. that is my go-to drum app on ipad
Drumjam
Seek Beats
Rock Drum Machine
No problem, just in case, would have been great !!
... and Gadget
oh yeah, I totally forgot about gadget
In the line of Gadget there is also Oscilab, FRUM, Blocs Wave. Glitchbreaks is also very cool.
Different Drummer needs an iPhone port!
Me neither - whoops
Frum? what is that? are there any videos online for it?
Gadget on iPhone kinda has whatever you need...
One stop synthesis shop, including drum synthesis, and now sample-based acoustic drums
Frum is an impressive perc synth lab!
@eross Frum is the scandalous new FM percussion app that has everyone's feathers ruffled. There's a topic on it here somewhere but I couldn't find it.
DM1
Funkbox
Frum vvv

Impaktor, Drumjam, Rock DM -- all on iPhone
Drumkick is fun too.
Totally agree !!
iPod here, but...
1.) Impaktor
2.) DrumJam
3.) Patterning (on iPad mini because iPod is too old)
