  • Cool I use RP-1 a lot :)

  • It even has LINK, I'm not sure what that means for a reverb but can't be bad

Yeah still trying to work that out myself from their website. But hey come pay day it's a must buy.

  • I think link has to do with modulation of the tremolo reverb

  • Bought. Interesting reverb! The presets are all over the top, but it's easy to reign it back in.

Can get some interesting in and out reverb effects with the trem reverb and of course sync this to Link.

  • Another great app from this dev.

Yep definitely. This dev a good design going here.

  • If you get to liking some of the reverb effects you can do in the app and want to go a tad more wild, get ApeDelay. It's AU as well.

  • Thx for sharing - in case others didn't know (like me) Rp-1 seems Au too

Yeah, me too. Will likely get this app.

ApeDelay appears to have no reviews. Strange. How different is it to RP-1 and Duplicat?

And DDMF which I am bathing in mostly these days as regards Reverb.

    A new Holy Trinity of AU - DDMF / RF-1 and RP-1 / ApeDelay

    Yes I know that's technically 4 lol

See what you're getting at now lol. RP-1 is a great work horse. It does lots easily that you would use most of the time (as you probably know by experience), where as Duplicat is a great tape delay emulation. I used to use tape delay more, but I've tended to tone down my delays which isn't really Duplicats best role imo. Duplicat is Hawkwind ;)

+1. Also just saw that they have a nice looking Mini/Microbrute control app. Hope they're making a little scratch.

Wow! It's apps like this that set the bar for what is technically possible in iOS audio. Audiobus, IAA, AU, and Link! Purrty too :)

Anyone know if presets made in standalone mode can be used in AU hosts and vice versa? Prior, the only app I was aware of that can make presets standalone and then be used in AU was Phonem. The Phonem UI for editing presets within AU is more limited, but it can save them back for use in standalone as well1. Though Phonem isn't universal like RF-1 is!

  • How does it compare to AUFX:Space (which I already have)? Should I grab it or should I wait until AUFX effects get the AUv3 treatment?

Grab it. Great price, and this app has it's own distinctive take on reverb, rather like it's sister RP-1 does with delay.

yep grab it and heap their delay app too. sounds great, and is very fast to use. highly recommend. aufx space is good, but i use this one way more, and it's only been out a short time

From your lips as regards AUFX. I would love to see these AU'd. I think with the addition of this capability into AP now I think we're going to see a lot more begging (from me) for apps to join the party etc...

  • My non AUs seem to be getting a bit under used of late

  • Wow, the clips of this sound great. I have had too many little purchases lately but it's on my wish list for sure.

  • Bought this because I'm weak and it's Friday and because of AU in AP now I guess.....

I did an album cover for some Hawkwind members side project. :)

I met them at Stonehenge Free Festival. Don't remember the year exactly, but a couple of years before Thatcher put a stop to it. We were enjoying the wares on Greg's Herbal Teas double-decker bus :)

RP is my favorite and what I consider the most advanced Fx app available.

I would love some compression etc from this dev.
