RF-1 algorithmic reverb AU AB IAA

  • Well, this one is very nice and worth the money if you're like I was, on the fence because of how good the DDMF reverb is. The modulation gives it some cool abilities, and I actually just used one of the crazy presets (turned down to mix level 20%) on a track.

  • Since Auria Pro's addition of AU, I've been eyeing an AU reverb. It seems to be between RF-1 and DDMF Envelope. Are these comparable to AP's ClassicVerb and Convolution Reverb?

    Cool I use RP-1 a lot :)

RP is my favorite and what I consider the most advanced Fx app available.

I would love some compression etc from this dev.

I'm not being a smartass, I'm genuinely curious as to why you consider RP-1 the most advanced FX app available.......?

    a. 100% perfect functioning every time I have used it
    b. AU and normal function
    c. I have been able to isolated can sync such minuscule sounds after being delayed AND secondary effect with 100% accuracy. Most apps don't give such detailed parameter control that is accurate IMHO
    d. I feel that the RP is the most precisely calibrated Fx app of its kind.
    e. Others work great, but for someone who is almost insane with OCD and syncopation of measures with effected notes, this app is #1
    f. Personally it is my favorite Fx interface (reminds me of AUXY)

    Have you used it?

    What do you use?

Both of the AUs are better to my ears. I never cared much at all for the Auria reverbs.

Makes sense. I have used it, but have mixed feelings about it. My main complaint is that it crashes inside of AUM repeatedly for me, which automatically ramps down my opinion of it. When it is working, however, it's a nice delay. Though the "spread" knob is a bit funky. I expect that feature to spread the taps out across the stereo image, which it does do, but it also destroys the timing of a synced delay and starts to sound quite muddy. At least that's what it is doing on my end. Does it do the same for you?

My delay of choice is AUFX: Dub when my OCD wants complete accuracy in timing. I also really like TapDelay, Duplicat, and Echopad. But those are more "stylized" for specific sounds in my opinion.

    You nailed my point

They are stylized or specialized to a "sound" not a function.

    We agree actually

Echopad - crashes all the time
Tap Virsyn (cool for tripped out messy stuff)

I haven't used AUM lately so I wouldn't know. Thanks though I will loook at AUX DUB closely again

  • So many Reverb on iOS , but this one is a good one And AU .And 5 euros is bargain .I like this dev too .
