If you feel like you haven't payed enough get some IAP sound packs, they are a nice introduction.
I'm open to suggestions. Are there any that you or anyone else would be kind enough to recommend?
@Richtowns I'd recommend that you use the built-in store to audition each pack, and you'll soon get a feel of what suits your personal taste.
I think you meant me. Thanks, I always demo everything I can before purchase; however, guidance is always appreciated when it can save me some time/trouble.
I think they are all of pretty good quality but we don't know your taste mr @telecharge so recommendations are tricky.
Try the audition in store properly...you can play a demo tune, or listen to some of the individual loops, and all in time and key with your current open session
I'm happy to tell you that I like most music, though I tend to shy away from most modern country.
Finally grabbed this. It was never an issue of money. It had to do with storage space. It's gotten to a point to where I'm so low on space most of the time that I just don't want to have to make those "tough" decisions on what to keep on there and what to delete. So instead I've been making an effort to stick with what I already have, and explore everything I already have in much more detail. And I already have a couple things that allow me to make loops, like Loopy HD.
But of course that all goes out the window when something like this happens. Damn all you incredibly talented iOS music app developers! :-)
I could not be more sympathetic to being "space poor" @Paulyboy, but I find Blocs Wave to be VERY reasonable at 51.8 MB installed. As long as you're reasonable with the sound packs -- no worries! I really appreciate that Novation doesn't shove sound packs down your throat. (Hint, hint, nudge, nudge @blocsxnovation)
Good to know. Thanks!

Then you are in luck. There are no modern country packs. All the packs are very well produced, and in combination can make for some excellent tunes. So, dip in there via the audition screen and take your pick.
I go purely by the pictures (which are all great) and have yet to be disappointed.
I find a 'just buy them all' policy has worked well.
Does it timestretch and pitch shift your own imported loops in realtime as well as the included loops?
Also is it single stream output or can have separate out fir each sample?
Yes to both in real time. Single stereo output.

It is a nice piece of kit. have fun!
Yeah. I think it's probably an almost must have whatever the kettle of chips your cooking. Got so many applications (sic). I would still love to have the ability to hold a key change between scenes, but for now export is just fine.
Is this and a Novation Circuit a good combination? Or are they more or less separate things that don't meet.
They work brilliantly together, you will need to use MIDI Link Sync or similar to get the Circuit and blocs to sync with each other, but it works really well.
You can also record into blocs from the circuit to make loops.
I spend many hours using this combination just for my own amusement
There goes my resolve.. Don't really need it but, you know, ..bargain
How about Blocs with Launchpad — seems a natural fit.
Thanks for the heads up, I picked up a few extra packs because I was having so much fun with it! Is there a way to get my recorded samples to change key properly like the Novation samples do?
