I'm off to bed, but thought I'd get the thread party started. Looks like fun. Oh, so knobby.
I can't see anywhere (including in the app) what the price of the import IAP is, but I'm sure it's reasonable and well earned.
- New SAMPLER engine, with sample pitch, reverse, envelope, and a genuine looper function !!!
- Sample import via iTunes, eMail or AudioShare after purchasing the "sample import" option
- Record your microphone input after purchasing the "sample import" option
- Velocity/Automate edit view on iPad, via longtap velocity/automat button
- top navigation: swipe to prev/next pattern works the other way round now
- Copy instr + seq in Instr option sub screen
- You now can import samples from an email into Elastic Drums
- Limited master tempo X (multiplication) as it did not work properly after the Ableton Link rebuild
- fixed badly working Midi Sync out start/stop behavior
- doubleTap on instr parameters will set knob to default
- button/solo labels on instr. buttons
- selecting + longtap on an instruments preset or user sample will open a delete overlay
- warning, if you really want to change to another preset, if you made edits to the current one
- updated to newest libPD version 0.10
- version info in info overlay screen

However, when I wanted to buy the sampler option, there is no price, it takes me directly to payment without knowing the sum?

I cannot find where my sample went once imported?
Disregard it popped up. What is the allowable sample length? That was the problem.
Is there a chance for future idea of when the sample is imported all the knobs reset so the original sound can be heard? Or am I missing something?
The IAP was a 'no-brainer' and the new automation editor makes this app really fun to tweak
Pleased to hear about Sample import and new automation features, but if there's a sample length limit, that falls under "need to know" information in the release notes. Right below "make sure users can see the price before they click for the new IAP." Sorry to hear that, but the dev seems to be one of the good ones, so I'd allow these may just be oversights that will be tended to quickly.
Actually, there is NO PROBLEM with the purchase. I just bought it and the price pops up after you sign into your account and asks: do you want to buy.?..

Confirmed here in the US as well, after using "Touch ID" to authenticate to the iTunes Store, the $4.99 price is displayed And you then tap "Buy" to complete the transaction.
One thing is weird though, I have 2 iPads on same account and normally all purchases get restored on both, there's no restore purchases button in ED and it really wants me to buy it again, 2nd time!
Great update, love the automation editor. Getting some clipping clicks and pops when I do the sample preview not sure if that's just me.
That's not right, am sure he'll fix that....

I've not tested how 'long' samples can be imported as most of my loops are 1-4 bars and so far no issues importing them.
I do wonder if there are plans to add any form of time-stretching/time-warp since it would make it easier to mix & match different loops?
If it ever gets an AUv3 treatment it would be nice with '1 part per AUv3-Extension' since the sequencing could be done using the host making all the parts playable at different pitches using a keyboard
Brilliant update, haven't bought the IAP yet but playing with the built in samples is fun.
One thing I don't understand - I just created my own song, named it, saved it ( while it was playing) and when it'd finished saving it changed and sounded completely different.
Yes I'm still on 9.3.1 and I get clicks too. Seems to be a fair few issues here but I'm sure they'll get resolved.
Yepp! The developer pops in here every now and then and I'm pretty sure this thread will get some attention sooner or later
Check the patterns. I had the same issue ,started from a factory preset ,but realized I accidentally left the first ones and tweaked the last ones. When saving it plays from the fist patterns.
Tip : pressing the button next to play ,toggles song/pattern mode
Now who can tell me how to delete fx automation?

'Long Tap' the fx 1 2 or fx 3 4 knob and you should get a dialogue asking if you wan't to clear the automation.
Same procedure to clear other automated parameters too.
All the settings and automations are per pattern so is possible you are in different pattern from when you saved? If you hit save it should save the settings and parameters as they are in each separate pattern
So far I've had one very repeatable 'crash' with Elastic Drums...
If I delete the 'active' preset in the preset list and then try to select another 'preset' ED bails out to home screen?!
I mean how am I supposed to 'delete' stuff if ED bails every time I've deleted a preset and try to select another one?.
The 'Preset' is deleted but stays in some kind of 'buffer' because it's still present after I relaunch the app but no longer in present in the preset menu.
I've just synced my iPad so the 'crahs-logs' should have been automatically sent to the developer.
Thanks guys, I think you're probably right - I think after you save it jumps back to the first pattern.
Is the IAP not universal? I just bought it (IAP) on my iPhone and it wants me to buy it again on my iPad. I can't find any option to restore purchases.
It is, I have the same problem, probably a glitch on developer side
Beenvtalking to the developer on FB ipad musician group. He aware of the IAP problem with no store or restore IAP problems. Hopefully a fix on the way for users of more than 1 device.

Guess I need to read the manual one more time
The 'Manual' says:
"To erase all FX automation on the current pattern, double- tap the XY pad."
But it does NOT work
