  • Bent.fm! All the little suffering electronic sounds are hilarious.

You said fun, not the most musical. The little cheap and cheerful noisemakers are a particularly good side of ios music. Hexaglyphics, grain proc, Dr. Om, soundscaper are good as well, for entertaining weirdness.

  • GarageBand the more and more I play with it and it is capable of using audio share and then I can throw my close seconds in there to use. BeatMaker 2 and iMaschine 2 and gadget are close seconds.

  • Also, Spacevibe.

  • Beathawk

Fun would be Rotor, S_nv_x, iSequence.
    And all the synths.

Tonight? Oddysei controlled from xynthesizer . Lots of fun right there and wow what sonic beauty has been popping up!

  • Virtual ANS
    Thumbjam
    Don't make me choose...

Auria by a country mile. But when it comes to an instrument, it's amazing how many tracks the M3000 has snuck its way on to.

Honorable mention to @gil's most excellent Tin Pan Rhythm.

Yes, I can tweak to my heart's delight with Tin Pan Rhythm

  • I Am Sampler was really really fun. Sir Sampleton captures the joy of immediate sampling + playing but I am sampler had some nice effects that made it instantly inspiring.

Never got Audiobus so I don't think I've had it installed since iOS 7 or so.

It feels somewhat like sad handlers talking fondly of agents gone by...

  • Sector. Never do a single practical thing with it, but never have so much fun either. Hell, I can have fun just staring at it playing sometimes.

In fact I just decided what to do with the remaining 20 minutes of free time tonight! B)

    Bye!

    Checked. Still works, still fun!

  • Elastic Drums

Since I saw Doug's video when in first came out - I love this app. Many days on the treadmill or just sitting around I have lost myself in animation and the quest of making "real' instrument sounds out of drones or FM chirps - shaping and molding - attacking and releasing........................till I am just jamming out head moving and all to a track I made on it.

Now, I find that FLUX PAD is the same way.

I just wish it had an IPhone version.

Animoog is always my numero uno for everything though.

  • Ooh, I've just changed my mind from iVCS3 to Oscilab.

    Gadget

I was shure that everyone should say Korg Gadget...

    I vote for Gadget though!

I almost voted Gadget, but on 2nd thought, I've actually had more fun historically with Figure. That said, I'm ridiculously productive with Gadget

...especially when I drop my Figure stems into Bilbao.

I just use AudioCopy. So simple I feel like I'm cheating with audio production

  • Guitarism for strumming

Seline Redux Pro for epic noodling

    GeoShred.

    Me too.

  • Well so far Thumbjam,Samplr and Turnado.

Samplr thru Turnado into Loopy is my beatboxing dream rig and I own a 600 dollar hardware looper!

  • Auxy for me. So fast to get some really great sounding tunes happening, and a lot easier to navigate that Gadget is for me.

  • Easy : Korg Gadget... By far far far far far far far ;-)

  • BeBot, Gadget & E-L-S-A. but there are too may to mention. I enjoy most of the apps I have :)

  • No preset loops, that is a dozy rule. Blocs Wave is the app I’ve had the most fun with.

Gadget tops the list for me. As much as AudioBus, Cubasis, AUM, and all that other stuff has brought all sorts of good things to the table, I'm more into the simplicity of using just one app to alleviate all the complexity that ends up sidetracking me. Gadget keeps me more focused.
