    gracias

  • Their stated plan is Android first, as a shakedown, then the other platforms. The Android releases have gone from 3 to 3.0.9 in a scant few weeks so I'd say they're working hard and making progress. But their FLM3 forum is still full of bug reports so I'm not holding my breath (I'm learning SunVox in the meantime -- oh look, somebody mentioned SunVox).

  • the only thing sunvox doesn't have is a sample slicer, or does it?

    Try this ;)

  • In case any of you missed it this shows how FLM3 integrates into FL Studio....as well as some other new stuff in FL Studio

By the time we get it on iOS all the little niggles should be nicely ironed out :)

  • If you want to have a go at FL Mobile 3, & you own FL Studio 12.4( released this Monday gone)its in VST form(built in)it's exactly the same.

    Or install it on Android.
Although I'm curious how it'll integrate on iOS with AudioCopyPaste, Audiobus... stuff like that.

The sampler is useful but pretty basic.

Not a fan of the interface of FL(so not going to move over it), but the loop recording and the ipad version working as a plugin inside desktop is really impressive! Someone should make a meme of xzibit saying something about that :D

  • Somewhat OT, but great to see Image Line updating FL (and improving it !) release upon release. Vectorial PEQ2 will be a boon for me. That new Transistor Bass plugin will remind older users of the venerable TS404.

Scott does great video tutorials too !

Image Line are going to intergrated the whole thing together, whether it's IOS, Andriod, or Windows Mobile. So, for example, if you have done a project on iOS, you can transfer it to the Desktop version for further development & viscer verser. Or you can transfer a project from iOS to Andriod(I think?). Really with FL Studio 12.4, as you have the Mobile version intergrated with the Desktop, so you have a DAW within a DAW. If you get my drift. They released the Andriod first, because(apparently) its there Pain in the Arse. So they have released that first to iron out the problems. Whereas iOS is more stable operating system...... Etc. ;)

  • BTW also interesting to know is that Audio Latency under Android is now acceptable. That is if you're running stock Android from version 6 (=Marshmallow) or higher. With an enormous userbase I think we will see more and more Android audio apps coming in the near future.

  • I have a Google Pixel XL and before that I had the Oneplus 3. Latency has 2 settings : Normal & Fast (or smth like that).

The thing is it's very playable. VERY!

I'm waiting for it on iOS because of the screen real estate.

  • It does integrate cool into Android. You can download stuff from Dropbox to the App's folder and then use those samples as drums / instruments. You only have ADSR type of control. You can't see and trim the sample visually.

  • Android is solid latency wise.. I've been using a cheap Chinese tablet for a few weeks now. FL Studio mobile works on it without problems.

I've just seen this on facebook
https://www.facebook.com/FLStudio/posts/10155278172229041. Update has been submitted to the Appstore. Been looking forward to this app for ages

  • I remember getting the email about the immanent upgrade, about a year ago.

  • I redownloaded flm2 so the update notice will appear on my appstore icon when it's available.

  • FL Studio Mobile
FL Studio Mobile We just uploaded (what we hope to be) the release candidate to the iTunes store and it's now waiting for validation by Apple.

The Android release showed quite a few issues which led us to hold off the iOS & Windows releases. If not it would have accused of releasing without any testing.

  • my question is does it have anything like Edison, or Slice-x in it?

    Nothing that sophisticated.

There is a basic sample player:
    https://www.image-line.com/support/FLHelp/flmobile_manual/html/plugins/FL Studio Mobile_Module_DirectWave.htm

    And some basic editors:
    https://www.image-line.com/support/FLHelp/flmobile_manual/html/plugins/FL Studio Mobile_Editors.htm

You can get a pretty good sense of what will be on offer by looking through the manual.

  • Hope they bring Gross Beat to FLM3 also....

Thats pretty cool. I can see them adding vst type things as in app purchases

  • And it's still not here.

  • I can't get them to say anything other than "soon". It's in the hands of the Apple reviewers....

  • I'm pretty sure they haven't sent a release version to Apple yet, they seem pretty busy trying to make the Android version work properly.
